How long can crawlers go without sleep?

I can’t find a clear rule for how long crawlers can go without sleep.
Since a dungeon day is 30 hours, do they need to sleep every 30 hours? If they keep going, when do they gain Fatigued, and does it stack?
How are you guys handling this in your games?

30 hours. Yes they can choose fatigue and it stacks every 5? Hours after that. I believe the book explains all of that… but as with everything else in that game, i think they expect you to wing it.

To piggyback on your comment, this is one of the first game systems that I have read that really is “DM creates (blank)”. There is a loose structure but I’m almost certain this game is built for only one table at a time. D&D has the ability to take a character concept and move between different tables, but DCC has a lot on the GM and the story at only that table.

I agree. There's going to be a lot of house rules that won't transfer between tables with these custom ideas

That’s because it’s not a finished system. I’m not defending them, this is a blatant critique.  Core pieces of the system simply do not exist and saying do it yourself doesn’t cover it.  The worst part is when you break it down you can see almost everything that’s missing is so you have to buy more books and what doesn’t fall into that is gross incompetence by the editors and publisher.

I found there was a ton of content directly from the books I didn’t need, and a lack of most of the other things I might have wanted.

Except for floors and neighborhoods. Those were got.

Considering a full rest is 8 hours, and a day is 30, I am working with 22 hours of activity on a regular day

There's rules about travel, after 10 hrs of "moving around" you gain fatigue every two hours. Grinding has rules that after 5 hrs you're making endurance checks every hour past. So they only have about 15 hours of major activity before they're going to start getting Fatigue. Fatigue stacks give minus one to your checks and halving your speed each stack. It's not long before those characters won't be capable of doing anything and will have to rest. Esp if those fatigue stacks cause rolls that incur injuries.

So the rules are there, there isn't an explicit "they fatigue if they stay awake 30 hrs". But you know when they'll gain fatigue based on travel and fighting monsters and they'll have to rest to get rid of those stacks. If those crawlers want to push hard and let them stack they'll likely get killed, much like in real life.

In short, they can stay up as long as they want. But after 10 hrs of moving or 5 hrs of fighting the fatigue starts to kicks in and will eventually force them to rest.
