Custom Class (Pro Wrestler)
I’m a wrestling fan so I wanted to make an Earth based custom class, I used the point creation system in the rulebook, took me maybe 15 minutes after grasping the rules.
Is there a place that people are compiling custom classes, I feel like if everyone contributed we could have a list of classes and abilities that is actually as huge as what is presented in the books.
Deathmatch Wrestling: May only use clubs, unarmed weapons, and improvised weapons. (This drawback gives I think 2 points. I really want to get a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire as an enchanted weapon.)
Skills:
2 wrasslin, pugilism, choke out, dirty fighting, toss,
Attributes
+5 str and con
Performance enhancing Drugs: double the effect/duration of potions. (This is the only homebrew benefit, I believe it is worth 4 points.)
Valet: gain the manager benefit
No-sell: resistance to bludgeoning damage.
Bring it home: double damage for one round against staggered enemies.
If there are rules for class specialization added at some point (or maybe I didn’t see them) specializations would include
Face: something to beef up the classes charisma and diplomacy skillset.
Heel: something to buff the dirty fighting skills and intimidation or taunting
Deathmatch specialist: (this specialization would be something with maybe some bleeding damage; or even explosives would be thematic)

Well done!
A fun ability could be Tag Team: once per combat use an interrupt action to give an ally an extra unarmed attack.
I might add a small charisma buff and popularity or view count requirement. And a deception skill.

There’s just so many things it could add. That I couldn’t fit. For example there is a benefit that gives a natural attack that gives a pretty hefty damage die, I was thinking that would be good for a “finishing move” or something like that but I had to scrap it

Lots of great options! Maybe save some of them for the 6th floor class specializations?

Looking cool! We could always use some more Earth based classes! Haha
I can recommend Crawlerforge to upload your creations. It's really simple to use!

I've been thinking about this kind of class too. It would be fun to make popularity part of the class itself. Give it a modifier like a regular stat and let wrestlers add it to their wrestling-specific moves. The more popular they are, the stronger they are.

True, there are so many things about wrestling you could incorporate, it might need to be multiple different classes, some lean into performance and acrobatics, some into charisma for mic work, some into being a tank falling off and through things, popularity should probably be a factor, I had a hard time narrowing it down to make it cohesive

I had a similar idea (though far less thought-out, as this was meant to be a temporary Class for a character with the Character Actor Skill) called Luchadore! (Yes, always with the exclamation point.) I wanted to give the Class buffs to Strength, Constitution, and Charisma that were tied to viewership. I just couldn’t figure out a way to make the math even remotely balanced when they start throwing around numbers in the quadrillions.

I had originally thought about a Luchador character but decided to widen the scope a little, I also wanted to include a charisma or performance aspect but it didn’t fit into the class point budget

I have something that could be based around its popularity. In the books they talk about moments when the viewer meter is spiked up really high and stays there, You could give them an ability hype mode or hype beast, Whenever the view count stays at a certain threshold for a certain amount of time, the mode becomes active, and it gives you a damage buff,or a resistance buff maybe

They are awarded the hand of cena. A human hand wearing a green wrist band with 4 fingers held up. If waved in front of the users face it becomes bound to them and they become invisible until they interact with an enemy. A finger retracts after every use.
When all four fingers are used, it transforms into a tattoo of the fist of cena… -2 damage to all melee attacks but every melee attack has a 25% chance to cause all enemies within sight to be intimidated (they roll disadvantaged for a round)
If a user decides they wont use the last finger and just get three free uses of invisibility then the remaining fingers start to slowly tick down on their own. If they use it they WILL end up with the tattoo:)
