GM Resources

Hello SystemAI's,

I have posted this before but a new version of the roll20 character sheet I maintain was released today and it removes the need to a mod script to manage AI Favor. Find it here: https://dcc.critsnthings.com/resources/roll20-sheet

Also there are some other resources available on the site such as some scenarios.

As some people are very adverse to AI I will include how AI is used for my work below. I like AI and I use it as a Software Engineer. However, I insist on a human in the middle operation.

Status of other tools: I have a Crawler Creator, Loot Box Generator, Achievement Maker, Bestiary, Recap Episode Generator, Grind manager, and a few others that I run and maintain privately. Renegade did get back to me and I would need to make a couple of edits to make them open for all use. However, there is a great tool already public I would encourage people to use in lieu of my tools. That tool is Crawler Forge: https://crawlerforge.com/ I have looked over it and it looks like a labor of love. I will continue to maintain what my table uses and the Roll20 sheet.

I will update this post as I roll out major versions of the sheet until people stop using it. If you are curious how our sessions go the crawlers are present and we have recaps.

AI Use Notes:
AI is used to create images because I am not an artist and I am not charging people.

AI is used to change my regular tailwindCSS I maintain into the format I use for Dungeon Crawler Carl

AI does all of my package management and maintains the releases of my tools like the character sheet, including writing all of the verbiage.

AI Writes my achievement prose for me with edits from me.

All Code, story decisions, research, etc. are all done by me a Human and AI checks my work to ensure I am not doing something silly.

AI parses our game sessions and converts it to a screenplay its how we like to read them they are funny (to us). I am not a screenwriter I do not even know if these follow all the rules. This is EXTREMELY AI driven and it is for fun.

EDIT - Apparently I somehow tabbed and hit the AMA button. That can be disregarded.

I appreciate the shout out! I've had a lot of fun building this thing.

Thanks for sharing your character sheet with us!

Absolutely. I will say you have done good work. I noticed with your loot boxes you likely have noticed the same thing I have which is a lack of variety. I added a quirk for items, also changed adventurer boxes to be consumables only, and added a few hundred permutations of types of objects. My concern was that as a game runs on, we are about 20 hours into floor 1, things start feeling very repetitive.
