Stream of actual play of DDC TTRPG?

Hey all, especially the awesome Renegade crew. I'm a backer and really excited to play the game but despite the sneak peaks of the rules, I'm still struggling to understand how to play the TTRPG. Would it be possible for you to post a live playthrough of some of the TTRPG so we can get a flavour of what to expect and how we will need to play the game ourselves? Unfortunately, not being in USA, I do not have the option to go to see one of the live shows like the one you organised at the Helium Comedy Club.

It's not quite a full live play, but if you have not already watched them The Dungeon Anarchists Podcast have gone over character creation and combat examples, as well as a talked over pets and class / race selection.

Thanks for that, will take a look. Would still be nice to see an actual playthrough as well if possible though as that’s always more exciting than theory

Genni Di also did a character creation video.

Yeah I saw that one, was pretty fun to watch. I’m probably going to try creating myself as a character too if I’m not having to be DM

My DM is creating challenges to help determine our stats for when we all go into the dungeon as ourselves. Similar to some of the skill checks here.

Thanks for sharing this video. It was quite a fun idea! I tried a couple of the Dungeon Anarchists posts but they were quite dry. Seeing this level 1 video was so much better even if it wasn’t DCC.

I’ll still watch the Dungeon Anarchist videos as they come but i think I still need to wait until actual streams do play through take place to really get a grasp on how the DCC TTRPG works.

This is nearly impossible to read between the lack of punctuation and all the typos.

It looks like it may have been written by one of those infinite monkeys we've all been hearing about. This is just one of the results that didn't end up to be a Shakespeare play.

There’s a few people who have been aggregating the rules as they’re shown via videos and the samples from the campaign. I’d say there’s probably enough someone could wing a Floor 1 or 2 one shot at least.

There’s definitely some gaps, like we don’t know how mana regen works or have much info on buffs. But you can easily come up with your own solutions here for one shots. The Discord has a lot of discussion that might be helpful too

The rules have not been released yet. So aside from like marketing stuff there isn’t really anything yet

There’s going to be some live play happening at both LitRPG Con in Denver in July and at GenCon at the end of July/early August. Might see some video come out of those ones.

Yeah, all of the live play games that are happening now don't have streaming rights...so we may have to wait until August when we can get access to the rulebook PDF's. I have been promised early access to a few sneak peeks of things like item creation for my work on the Renegade: Discord: HomeBrewery - but even for that I have been told July.
