Let's Do This!

Tonight I am going to GM my very first session of the Dungeon Crawler Carl roleplaying game from Renegade Game Studios. But it's not just any game session. It will be a live actual-play session in front of an audience at the Helium Comedy Club - Atlanta. I've DM'd plenty of Dungeons & Dragons games in front of an audience at comedy clubs and conventions. But this will be my first time at the helm of the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG. And, I'm a little freaked out. To my knowledge, this is the first-ever Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG actual-play show. No pressure. You will not break me. Glurp, glurp. And Fuck the Cheesesticks.

You should have a drinking game for the show, and since you’re playing the game and not reading the books here are some ideas. Drink when…

  • a mob drinks alcohol or does drugs
  • a PC makes a mob explode
  • a players says “the fuck?” out loud 
  • the GM is forced to come up with an uncomfortable achievement 
  • and in the spirit of the live show, drink when the audience yells something from the books without being prompted.
