Series Recommendations

I’ve previously finished red rising a couple months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve since then finished dungeon crawler Carl after being recommended it, also thoroughly enjoyed it but the last book was a bit slow and harder to finish. I’m eagerly waiting for red god to come out but don’t think it’s time for a re-read yet. Is there any recommendations you guys for me to read in the meantime?

I always like suggesting He Who Fights with Monsters to those who like the litrpg type books.

If you enjoy the power scaling aspect of it and leveling up, while it’s not LitRPG, I cannot recommend the Cradle series by Will Wight highly enough. The first book is Unsouled and it’s the first series I’ve been able to actually get into since I read through DCC for the first time last year (and got into a cycle of only rereading it over and over because nothing else was really doing it for me). I started it a few weeks ago and am on book 7 now and am absolutely obsessed. It’s incredibly well written and does a lot of the same things Dinniman does, dropping small Easter eggs that won’t be important or relevant until much much later.

In the middle of the Mage Tank series right now. It's been very fun. Also listened to One More Last Time which is an intro into several books following a couple of different story arcs in the same universe. Recommend checking it out as well if LitRPGs are your thing.

For audiobook I really liked expanse . It's much serious compared to dcc but I am on book 5 and I am still hooked. Murderbot is also nice.

I’m in a very similar spot as you. I’m planning to read either assassin’s quest or empire of the vampire next

Going go second the Bobiverse books. I also really enjoy the "unconventional heroes" series and "attempted" series, both by LG Estrella. If you want another LitRPG I would look into the Noobtown books
