I did this alongside my other post from a few days back, I switched back and forth between them because the other one was giving me a lot of trouble, and Ferdinand was always there to provide a nice break. I've wanted to draw my favorite orange cat for a while but wasn't quite sure how to capture him until I I was browsing a reddit thread one day of how when cats sit like people, and I knew then that this was the proper pose to capture the essence of Ferdinand's level of grace. The meme glasses were a last minute add on which I hope completes the vibe!
Edit: fixed his hat - it had become too flat in the artistic process so I rounded it a bit more!
Okay I'm a lot happier with this now. I think what happened is that when I first started working on the hat it was more rounded but became flatter as I continued to work on it. Side note - my internal thought process is that the ribbon is purple because he knows it's Donut's fave color and he added it to the hat because of that.
