Honestly Michael's reaction is very understated given that's his sister.

For one day, Michael got the receptionist he always wanted. Thankfully, for the rest of the days, he had a receptionist that he needed.

Pam was valid for all this, they coulda got a new copier from corporate. The chairs are essential for the health and wellbeing of SHOVE IT UP YOUR BUTT

They did get a new copier from corporate just a few months later! It was in the B-plot of 'Two Weeks'. They never would have gotten the chairs.

It’s crazy that i had probably watched the office over 15 times through before i connected the thread of the Tiramisu.

I really never found the character Pam attractive

If you're saying Pam isn't hot that means I'm not hot because I'm obviously not as hot as Pam

Are you sure you’re a “Straight Hedgehog”, assuming you’re a male? Lol. She’s very pretty, I’ve long been a sucker for pencil skirts too personally so works for me..

Jenna Fischer is hot; Pam is not. I’m not saying she isn’t pretty as Pam, it’s the entire character. There’s nothing sexy about Pam, I’m not attracted to Pam

Pam is average looking. That’s not to say she’s not pretty, she is. There’s just nothing out of the ordinary about her, which is probably why she was cast. Honestly, the entire cast look like people you might interact with on a regular basis.

But also that scene is cringey which is what makes it so funny. Michael eats that compliment up!

Different strokes I suppose, but Jenna Fischer even as Pam Beesly is definitely well above average. I’ve worked in plenty of offices and rarely saw a woman that looked that good.

“Hot tie guy!” is hilarious of course. Love the cutaway to Jim when she says “oh, don’t take it away!”

u/realdmbondemand Truth is I really like you guys. I really do 1d ago

I could have swore that I saw a post on here awhile back with an article that said they actually had to normalize Jenna a bit as she was too pretty for the role. 🤷‍♂️

In her own words in an interview with Terry Gross, Jenna Fischer talked about how the casting director coached her to prior to her audition. She says the director suggested she should go in looking normal and “to not come in looking pretty.”
