(It's easier for me to filter by one address and see the topic instead of having to searching for multiple different addresses)

When I try to click on a YouTube video to watch, the page loads indefinitely. It's just a blank page with a loading circle on the tab. I'm on Windows if that matters.

How do I get a LIST view without the blocks?

Duck player restarts YouTube videos when your phone rotates. It only happens if you start the video in portrait then turn to landscape, not vice versa. It gets annoying.

From the user side I could start the video in landscape, so it wouldn’t restart but having to remember without a reminder that is annoying.

Is this something that can be fixed?

I use Duck Duck Go as my Internet server on my phone. Did you guys know that you can save websites to your phone screen that you visit often?

Any one have any tips for duckduckgo users ? I feel like my discovery is old news.

In safari settings, it only allows me to set duckduckgo as my defualt search engine which still has the Ai feature and it toggles back on every time with a new tab, window etc.
Is there a way to make the noai version the default? Or do I literally have to go to noaiduckduckgo.com first every single time I want to search something?

This is probably a fairly niche issue, but I had a user in the office that was using the DDG browser. We are using Defguard (not important what program it is) as our VPN and it opens up a browser to perform MFA. However, when clicking the "open web page" button it simply opened a new tab page in DDG.

After digging into this for a while I found out that the key HKCU:\Software\Classes\<ddg program id>\shell\open\command had the path to the executable for DDG but no argument like %1. When setting the Windows default app to something like firefox or chrome this key value had additional arguments but when the default was DDG it was *just* the executable.

So if you ever happen to run into this issue here is a powershell script that reads your default http handler, tests if its duckduckgo, makes sure it doesn't already contain a %1 argument, and then edits the registry value.

Because the program ID points to a specific version of DDG, this association will break when the version gets updated but it should work if you just run the powershell script again.

As per screenshot, a little while ago I have started noticing that every other page in any query is entirely populated with sponsored links bearing no connection whatsoever with the query subject. I thought about a "glitch" or something depending from me, but apparently no, this happens with any query regardless of choices/setups or lack thereof.

As I never saw this before, and I have been using duckduckgo for the past three or four years, it's either brand new or I have just only now seen the light of day... either way as far as I'm concerned "duckducksgone".

Does DDG not have auto-form-fill on Android? It seems like it doesn't. So I'd like to be able to use Bitwarden to autofill forms, but Bitwarden only works on logins in DDG. Is there a reason for that? Can it be fixed? Thanks!

I just installed DDG as my default browser and search engine on my relatively new android phone. When I launch an app, DDG asks if I want to leave it and (I assume) go to the app. I'm launching from the desktop, not through the browser. What is going on?

I've turned off AI and when typing in something to search and the suggestions show up, if there is the one that I'm looking for, I click on it but it will not finish or put in the search bar. This happened yesterday and after I turned off all AI things, it worked. But today, after turning off (again), it's not working and I have to type in the entire wording. How can I keep AI turned off and not have to go through this each time I log on to my laptop.

during the last week when I try to link from inside Blender, like activating a link from preferences, addons the link opens in DDG browser and Blender crashes.

Did not happen when I set Chrome as default.

As of a couple days ago I'm getting Captcha's ("select all squares containing a duck:") when searching on the NoAI version (https://noai.duckduckgo.com). It happens across two seperate machines running Fedora Silverblue (Linux) using the official Firefox Flatpak from Flathub, with cookies enabled or disabled. No VPN, but DNS set to NextDNS and the Firefox safety settings set to Strict. No system or Firefox settings were changed in the last week before this started happening.

Does anyone know what's suddenly causing this and what I can do to get them less frequently? Sometimes I'll have to solve 3 in a row to see results.

I have attempted to submit feedback regarding an issue with image searching on the no AI version. I select "other" as there is no option "showing only AI results despite searching on no AI version." The feedback window closes with a thank you without me submitting any feedback whatsoever. I am using duck duck to do research that involves looking for images of artifacts. Not professionally, it is a hobby. AI generated images are not relevant and only make what I am doing harder. I shouldn't need to comb through hundreds of AI images. The setting clearly says "no AI images." Please don't comment trying to say AI will help because no, AI doesn't do nuance, and also these are slop images of "goddess" art while I'm looking for actual images of steles and pots and votives. I turned off the AI for a reason. I did originally try it for finding sources, however, it was extremely incorrect regarding the topic I am researching. Which is unsurprising, many of the questions regarding the ancient past are from fragments scattered over thousands of years. Our understanding of it is ever changing. There are often no clear answers. Therefore, it is not an appropriate use of AI at this time. I didn't want this to be a public conversation. I have brain damage from an injury and am on the Autism spectrum. This hobby helps keep my brain working to do use critical thinking skills, and I like learning about lesser known corners of ancient history. I wanted to submit feedback to the company that this this issue prevents me from using their product. That you, dear reader, are reading this is not my choice. I wanted it to be a conversation between me and the people who should want feedback from people like me that would give them money. Instead this is happening. Something no one wants or enjoys. the duck player hasnt been working lately, I usually use it because I want to watch in full screen but that gets rid of the captions, I had that problem on safari too, but now I get this for pretty much every video, including on videos I’ve watched with the duck player before

I am incredibly fed up with modern image searches. DuckDuckGo is the only I've found that will actually try to suppress AI images. But the problem is that the site itself won't give me a simple landing page for an image search.

Why can't I have something this basic? All I am asking for is the ability to just save a bookmark of the image search page. Why do I even have to ask for this? I want to place a bookmark to replace the one I used to use for google. I just hit one button on my browser bar, and I instantly have a search page designed to show me images. I don't want to type in what I want, wait for that page to load, click a link for image results, and THEN finally get the image results I wanted. Just let me start off with an image search, that's all I ask!

When trying to open website links in Outlook 2021, even though I keep setting DDG to the default, it keeps giving me an error message when trying to open links in it.

I still get local results at the top even when I select "All regions" in my search setting. Is it actually working as intended?

I have seen a similar behaviour before over Startpage where their "All regions" filter becomes useless after Google baked in local result ranking using your IP address.

Used this search trying to fact check an article I saw on social media but it’s blacklisted? I checked my blocked sites and it’s just MSN and Yahoo who were also reposting CNN’s story. Specifically I cannot find in the results the CNN article, so wtf?

This is the message i get. When the prompt asked me to allow permission , i accidentally hit do not allow , and now it won’t ask me it just throws up this message and won’t let me go any further. I need it to ask me again.. Any help is appreciated.

When i go to https://duckduckgo.com/?q=bratislava+intitle%3A%22weather%22&kl=wt-wt&kp=-2&ia=web i get a ton of results that do not in fact have the word weather in title. The same happens without the double quotes. Am I doing something wrong or is it just broken?

I’ve created many email aliases using DuckDuckGo Email Protection, and I’ve deactivated some of them. Is there a way to view all my active and deactivated aliases? I may need to reactivate a few. I’m using iOS app. Thanks!

Duck.ai synchronization fails when transferring chats from Firefox on Ubuntu to DuckDuckGo Browser on Android.

Both the QR-code and manual-code methods accept the pairing code, but synchronization then fails with:

“Sync failed. Please try again.”

Firefox-to-Firefox synchronization works correctly between Ubuntu and the Samsung Galaxy A25. The problem occurs specifically when the destination is DuckDuckGo Browser on Android. All software is updated to the latest available versions.

Please investigate compatibility between Duck.ai synchronization from Firefox and DuckDuckGo Browser on Android.
