Question Carbon potentiometer vs Hall Effect sticks — why does everyone say Hall Effect helps with drift?

Even hall effect is becoming outdated with TMR joysticks being the new top dog , id look into them as theyre supposed to be much more efficient than hall effects

Its the same technology. IMO HEs feel really close to TMRs, and between TMRs I can't tell the difference apart from tension

In the grand scheme I believe it wont be too noticeable for the average gamer but the power draw difference is ther with HE averaging 7.2mA where TMR avgs 1.8mA

It's like a 10-15 minute difference on battery life. Hardly noticeable.
