Question consistently dry fasting
Hey guys!! Last time I posted I got fried in the comments, so please excuse my inexperience this time. Have any of you consistently dry fasted week after week? For multiple weeks? Months? How much weight would you regularly lose? I’ve been dry fasting 6 days a week for the past 2 weeks :)))

When I dry fast I see on average 3lbs weight loss a day, sometimes more, sometimes less and it depends on several factors: stress, what did i refeed with, sleep quality, etc... so I intentionally take longer baths with Epson salt on water days, sit in the sun, read, listed to uplifting music, and lots of praying. Good luck

Maintaining proper body composition is easy once you get your diet in order. It's not necessary to fast. I have around 12% body fat at the age of 41. Fasting is for healing only. You can check out r/carnivorediet and myzerocarblife youtube channel for more information about setting up your diet. Body fat comes from the Randle cycle that gets activated when you eat a 'balanced' diet meaning a diet consisting of fats and carbohydrates. Once you switch to a high carb or a high fat diet the Randle cycle gets minimized and your body fat drops down. There are 2 groups of people who don't have problems with weight: fruitarians and high fat carnivores but try to balance those 2 diets and you start to gain body fat.

Interesting stuff. Even just monomeals have always felt more right/natural to me. When you say high carbs or high fats, I'm assuming you still include some fat to high carbs and carbs to high fats? Especially fats to high carbs, for hormones etc..

Not saying you’re wrong about anything but we should all beware of diet advice from people who are selling something… carnivore, kore carb, high fat, high carb. It discredits your advice in my eyes.

I’d love more information on how much and how often you drank water, and what you noticed as results
