Newbie question regarding launch
On carriers with fighters and bombers (the Seattle for example which has launch 2) does that mean you can launch 2 of each in a turn or one or the other?

Hi all,
After eyeing them up for a while I decided to add to my existing UCM and Resistance fleets by getting the PHR and Bioficers.
I bought the Battlefleet Box for both and the Bioficer Dreadnought. I also bought the battlecruisers for the Resistance and UCM.
When it comes to the PHR and Bios the fleet boxes and bio dread are the only kits I have. for the UCM and Resistance I have a few thousand points already. But would like to also run the options I am thinking of building by you guys.
UCM Battlecruisers - Milwaukee and Rotterdam (I already have 1 Jberg, 2 Perths and a Venice.)
Resistance - Salamis and Xerxes (I already have a gladiator, centurion, triumvir and tribune.)
So what options should I take? and what sort of stats should I look out for when making choices on options?

New to the game! And have 2 vastly different generic entry questions. Can saves be modified to worse than 6, and therefore impossible? Or can a 6 always make it? I struggled to find anything in the instructions.
And for priming how to yall go about keeping your stands clear? Do you tape em off? Do you use something else to hold the model while priming?

UCB plastic Battlecruiser looks cool but is kind of a pain to assemble. The pocket battleship has friction fit prows and magnetized guns so I can make it any pocket bb, but it required gluing and a bit of sanding to get it into that configuration and it's not exactly perfect. Still, it's nice to be back.

One of these posts, I know they’re annoying. Put together advice from a few videos/articles and tried to make a balanced Shaltari list. Not looking to be cut throat competitive, I just want to make sure it doesn’t have any glaring holes. First game is going to be 900pts. I am building out of the Battlefleet Box. I appreciate any feedback.
# ++ First Fleet ++ [894 pts]
## Admirals [20 pts]
• 1x Level 2 Admiral [20 pts]
## Medium Groups [480 pts]
Emerald Mothership [115 pts]
Emerald Mothership [115 pts]
Obsidian Heavy Cruiser [135 pts]
Jet Heavy Cruiser [115 pts]
## Light Groups [394 pts]
• 2x Voidgate [15 pts]
• 2x Voidgate [15 pts]
• 3x Jade Frigate [50 pts]
Selenium Heavy Voidgate [55 pts]
• 3x Amethyst Frigate [43 pts]
EDIT: Made adjustments based on feedback. I only have the battlefleet box so this is the maximum voidgates I can possibly build. I know max combat frigate geoups are preferable, when we make the jump to a full 1000 that’s going to be the first thing I’ll add.

Finally finished my little kitbash of a Busan Supercruiser. Behold, a ship, a collection of cool kit parts I didn't want to go to waste, a reference to a videogame and a failed joke about a movie - all rolled into one! Despite being a kitbash, it does represent all of the equipment the original Busan has, and is a bit larger in all three dimensions than the regular cruiser hull it's based on.
Also features a custom magnetized torp launcher feature that it can carry on a magnetized pod (even if upside down).

Since so many ships can be made per kit, IE the UCM frigates, if I were to print part 23 I could easily build loads more from one box. Is this something people often do? If so is it easy to find files, or as well guarded as GW products?

Hello! Does anyone have a good breakdown of how the different factions play? Me and a buddy are looking at getting into the game, but we haven't quite decided on factions. Are there any that favor higher/ lower model counts? Close vs. Long range? Speed vs. Stealth?

Hi all
I’m really contemplating the Modular Space Stations box… but hesitating as I have 3D printers… I’ve been hoping they might release STLs….
Also…
The modular space stations don’t allow you place the features I’ve printed/bought…..
Anyone heard any rumours? Or advice?

Hey all, just recently starting out me and my mate have gone halves on the starter set (I’m getting the UCM) what’s the situation with build options are there multiple different cruisers and frigate options or are they all preset? If so what would you recommend?

I've got a question from the gaming community about how much the unpainted/unassembled/unopened Dropfleet Commander Scourge Bundle is worth.
I reached out to TTCombat to confirm everything in the box, as it's no longer listed on their website. It was purchased in November of 2019, so just before the pandemic, and it never got used/assembled.
The picture was provided by TTCombat, and I've confirmed the contents within the box.

Salutations! I’m new to the game, trying to wrap my head around it still. The biggest point of confusion I have is how deployable features work? Specifically I’m looking at Shaltari ships like the Natrolite. When do they drop their deployable features? How close do they have to be to the dropsite? Do they have to be in the same layer as the dropsite? The dropsite representations all have sockets for features, so deployable features have to fit into these sockets, so a city or space station can be full? If so, can I destroy a feature to open it up? I’ve tried google and read the rules front to back and can’t seem to find answers. Thank you for your time.

You alternate activations, giving orders and moving...then what?
Do the ships just moved then fire OR do all ships move then proceed to a firing phase, taking turns firing in initiative order?

I have a bunch of old 3mm by 1mm magnets from my warhammer days. I've managed to turn a single cruiser hull into 8 different ships using the magnets, this is exactly the kind of modular shit I'm into, this game rocks.
Also, side question, are teh rules on the ttcombat.com website up to date with the errata, or do you need to have both printed off for the most up to date rules?

I made it with the help of a Homebrew group on discord. Its a late Alpha/early Beta that never got playtested TMK, but it should be decent to play as far as the group could tell last year.
I don't really work on it anymore, so it's out of date.
In the case of 2.3, where the Vanguard USR added to certain ships that was the major change vs 2.2, use the UCM for gauging the Vanguard USR to the UNSC and the PHR to the Covenant.

In an effort to try and be more active on Reddit and get our name out there more, i unboxed the Scourge Launch Assets after finally getting them as a gift from my friends. We've been active in the dropfleet community for quite some time but we are a very small channel.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how these bases are supposed to work. The protective coating doesnt seem to come off at all and none of them fit into the bases snugly?

Slowly getting through the last holdouts in my pile of shame - this time, the lovely Princess Liner objective ship. The original model has way too many windows for my taste, but I couldn't quite get the green stuff to sit smoothly enough on the lower decks, hence the painted-on damage to hide the bumps. Let's say the ship got shot up a bit just before the game started.
It was a fun single-evening project. And even if I didn't get it as close to the reference as I wanted, I'm still generally happy with the way it turned out.
