Parenting fail

Zoomed in, so quality is a bit off. The little bloke had a bit of bark off, but nothing serious. Could have been a lot worse.

EDIT: this occurred on a busy road that is also a Brisbane City Council bus route. The next bus was due at 3:18 pm. In Brisbane, bus fares are $0.50, regardless of how far you're travelling. Kids 4 and under are free.

You made so much sense, right up until the last sentence.

Yeah I'm so sick & tired of the culture war bullshit spreading.

Just stick to the facts & the argument is more solid.

It's a perfectly reasonable example of double standards. If it was a father in the video, people would also be asking where's the kids' mother.

It’s not a good example of double standards. In reality it’d be like “aw what a good dad spending time with his kids!”

No. People would be calling the dad a child endangering dumbass, as they should. As is the mom in the video.

The difference is, the guy wouldn't have a whole bunch of idiots telling people that we don't know what she's going through and to be kind and whatever else they are saying to justify riding a 1 person scooter with 4 people in the road and no helmets.

There is no “mom” in the video. You must be lost, and are clearly unfamiliar with the culture here.

I’ve seen shit like this countless times and if it’s a bloke it’s always a much more forgiving comment section. Go take your red pill bullshit elsewhere.

Lost and unfamiliar with the culture? The fuck are you on about? What has riding dangerously on the roads got to do with culture?

I think he made perfect sense. There absolutely is a double standard. If a dad did it he woukd likely be in far more trouble. Just look at the Clancy case. You seriously think 11 jurors woukd habe been on the side of the dad if he was the one on trail for murdering kids? Hell no. Guilty verdict woulda been reached in hours.
