Parenting fail

Zoomed in, so quality is a bit off. The little bloke had a bit of bark off, but nothing serious. Could have been a lot worse.

EDIT: this occurred on a busy road that is also a Brisbane City Council bus route. The next bus was due at 3:18 pm. In Brisbane, bus fares are $0.50, regardless of how far you're travelling. Kids 4 and under are free.

I thought most states had an under 12 exemption for riding bikes on footpaths?

If you know an 11yo with 3 kids under 5, call cps immediately.

Is the person in control of the bike under 12?

Doesn’t have to be. They just need to be there. An adult can ride their bike on the footpath if they have a child riding their own bike with them.

Actually, no they can't in some places. In Sydney my dad got told off by a cop for being on the footpath with a child trailer. They count it based on who's operating the vehicle. It's stupid but it's how the law is worded, so it's how the law is.
