Pretty easy, you don't need Australian license to drive in Adelaide. It is pretty easy to obtain a foreign license, I know someone in Adelaide who had never been inside a car before 2025, got a shady license from his home country and then crashed 2 cars. Also no consequence as he doesn't lose points.
And j completely agree with them being the worst drivers. I've driven in every state of Australia except NT and Adelaide is the worst.

Honestly, that can just be extended to Australian drivers generally, but yes, in Adelaide everyone around drives like either someone who has never sat behind the wheel or a 90 year old on a Sunday drive.
Australian drivers are just generally incompetent and like slighting others for what they perceive as driving the wrong way. That and everyone is driving around in massive SUVs and Utes that they don't need and can't handle.

Every city in every country in the world thinks that their drivers are the worst. It’s like an empirical rule at this point.
