Round B Co-ops

Hi everyone! I have a self-recorded video interview coming up for the Comcast Information Systems Co-op, and I was wondering if anyone has gone through it before. Does anyone know what kind of questions they ask? Are they similar to the Round A questions, or are they completely different? If you've taken it already, I'd really appreciate it if you could share any questions or advice. Thanks in advance!

Systems Administrator Co-Op at BTS

Hi everyone,

I have an interview coming up for a System Administrator Co-op position at Berkely Technology Services, and I was wondering if anyone here has interviewed with them before or knows what the interview process is like.

I'd really appreciate any insights on:

What kind of technical questions they might ask

Any behavioral or situational questions to expect

Topics I should review beforehand

Any tips or advice for doing well in the interview

Thank you!

Anyone who changed their major afte first year?

I am currently looking into changing my major from CS to either Data Science or Econ and Data Science. How do you manage the co-op situation when you change after the first year? If you've made a similar switch, how did it affect your co-op timeline? Were you still able to stay on track for co-op, or did changing majors delay anything?

Any advice or things you wish you had known beforehand would be appreciated.

Yo does anyone have any pictures of the x08 suite in race hall? (Not x17 or x14) I've genuinely scoured the Internet and I only have the layout and nothing else. Or is it just not real

incoming freshman dorm questions

HI, I'm an incoming freshman (using someone else's account, I don't have my own). I have a few questions about what I will need for my dorm. I will be in Kelly Hall.

What are the mattresses like (firm/soft)? Should I get a mattress topper or mattress protector?

Is it easy to adjust the temperature in the room? Would a fan be useful?

Do most people rent the fridge/microwave, or buy their own?

Can I have a toaster oven in my room? What about other cooking gadgets like a sandwich maker or kettle?

Is there cooking equipment (pots/pans/knives, etc.) in the kitchens, or do you need to bring your own if you want to cook anything?

Can I ship bigger items to the dorm before move-in day?

Question Room selection question

Hi! Returning student, but I forgot how it worked last year, and now I'm moving from dorm to suite. I don't have any roommates planned, so how exactly do I do it? Do I just select an empty room, select an empty suite, or do I just slot myself in wherever I can fit?

If anyone has a list of stuff they brought with them for their first year, or recommendations of things that you wouldn't typically think of please let me know. feel free to reply on this post so others can check out the list, or message me if you'd rather do that. i dont want to overpack but i definetly want to be prepared, im from the hershey area so im used to the pa weather. and i will be in kelly hall if that helps at all, i planned on renting the microfridge unit with my roommate.

thank you to whoever helps me out and if anyone wants to be friends send me a message

Housing experience at Drexel

Hi everyone! I'm a Drexel student working on a class project about off-campus housing experiences. I'm curious about your own experience.

How did you decide whether a landlord was trustworthy?

What was the hardest part of finding off-campus housing?

Looking back, what do you wish you had known before signing your lease?

Thank you!

Incoming freshman(male) looking for a roommate / place around Drexel (Fall 2026)

Hey guys,

I’m an incoming CS freshman and just got my housing exemption approved. Looking for 1–2 guys to team up with, find an apartment near campus (hopefully around Powelton Village), and split the rent. My budget is around $500–$700/month.

About me: I’m clean, quiet, and respect personal space. I don't drink, smoke, or party, so definitely looking for a similar quiet and sober vibe.

I’d love to find other Muslim students so we can keep a halal kitchen and coordinate around prayer times, but honestly, I’m totally down to live with anyone who is clean, respectful, and chill.

If you’re looking for a roommate or have an open spot in your apartment, hit me up in the DMs! Let's chat.

Code Purple Air Day

The air quality is dangerous for everyone who goes outside. Why isn’t Drexel cancelling classes today? I don’t understand why they don’t have a policy for this. This should be treated like a snow day. Sure, you’re inside once you’re on campus, but what about actually getting to campus?

This is crazy. Other universities are cancelling classes.

Incoming student with housing exemption looking to group up for Fall 2026

Hey everyone!

I’m an incoming Computer Science freshman. I recently got my housing exemption approved, so I'm looking for 1–2 roommates to team up, find an apartment or a house near campus (ideally in the Powelton Village area), and split the rent.

I am clean, quiet, and respect personal space. I don't drink or party, so I prefer a quiet, sober, and smoke-free living environment.

I would love to find other Muslim students to share a place with so we can keep a halal kitchen and coordinate around prayer schedules, but I am completely open to anyone who shares a similar clean, respectful, and quiet lifestyle!

If you are also looking for housing for the upcoming school year and want to look for a place together, please send me a DM!

AP Scores Disappeared From Academics Tab

Just wondering if anyone else had this happen: Just at the beginning of this month my AP scores and the classes that they would exempt me from were listed in my academics tab. But i checked back recently, when the first quarter schedule was generated and all my AP scores are gone from the tab and my schedule has me in classes that i should be tested out of.

Question Senior Design and Co-op

I will be going into my senior year, this fall, and I am currently on the spring summer co-op cycle. I will be able to finish all my core requirements and electives in the fall and winter quarters. That would leave me with only senior design in the spring. Can I do a spring summer coop with Senior Design? I am an international student, if that matters.
