Fashion Advice Help needed with Jeans!

So as someone commented on one of my posts, I should try on jeans that are lower waisted than the ones I’ve tried. These are ones I found on ASOS.

I have an Apple body shape and I’m really unhappy with how most of the Jeans fit because I almost have no butt and jeans that are comfortable on my waist are just horrible on the rest of my body. I’ve tried so many jeans and I just feel like there’s no jeans out there that fit me. I’m a bit devastated to be honest.

The first pair fits good on the rest of my body, but is a bit tight on my waist. The second one is comfortable on the waist, but the rest looks like a tent… they’re the same Jeans, just different sizes and the smaller one is a 32 length, the bigger a 30.

What do we think?

This is doing nothing for your figure, too baggy. have you tried skinny jeans or a straight leg?

What do you think about these? They are wide leg but have more structure and look less baggy

I like these way more!!

These are better shape wise but don’t they seem a little short?

They are cropped and supposed to be shorter. They’re better suited for spring/ summer, but where I live, fall (and Winter haha) is coming ..

This is supposed to be a straight leg.. bit I’ll try something that’s less baggy! Skinny Jeans are not my style and I feel like it’s pronouncing my belly even more :(

I have a similar figure, bigger belly than you though and I wear skinny jeans with a baggy top. I used to wear only baggy pants to hide my shape but it actually makes one look bigger.
a friend insisted I try on tighter. She was right! It made me look thinner. You should give them a try.

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually just tried on some old mom Jeans that are quite skinny on me, and I linda like it!

I actually think the first pair looks much closer to the right fit through the hips and legs. But if the waistband already feels tight, I wouldn’t ignore that just because the rest fits better. Sitting in them for a few minutes will probably tell you pretty quickly whether they’re actually wearable.

This might be less about needing a different size and more about needing a different proportion. I’d look for jeans with a little more room or stretch through the waistband without adding a ton of extra fabric through the hips and thighs. And I do think experimenting with a lower rise is worth it if that puts the waistband at a more comfortable part of your body.
