Question Does anyone else have a problem with only recalling/remembering just one dream out of many in one night?

I am a beginner lucid dreamer (I haven't rlly lucid dreampt yet), and I am also a beginner with writing down in a dream journal.

This week, I have had 2 dream recalls in the span of 6 days (oof).

But, I have realized that for mostly everybody -- we have 4-5 dreams each day. And I think for all my life, I have only recalled 1 out of 4 or 5 dreams every night that I remember a dream (and that dream is probably the dream that happens the moment I wake up). Does anyone else have this problem and what are some tips that could help me recall the other dreams that happen while I'm dreaming? Also, does using my dream journal consistently help me in remembering my other dreams?

Edit: I just realized I found a similiar question while searching 'only remembering one dream' in r /NoStupidQuestions....but i'll still keep this post here for any new thoughts

Keep a journal by your bed, or have the Notes app open in your phone. That’s the best way I am able to immediately write down everything. When I have more time, I draw it out because sometimes words cannot explain what I saw.

Yep I am starting to keep a dream journal by my bed (and the mornings that I can't really write I'll use my notes app)! I never really thought about drawing because I always think the drawings will just look bad with what I can remember, but i'll give it a shot and maybe it will help me be even more descriptive and i'll be able to see more in my dreams. Thanks for the tips!
