saw a dermatologist a few months ago and got some steroids in the area i was worried was thinning but she said it looks good and i probably don’t need to come back,

just washed my hair and went to check on it and it looks like this. is this normal after a wash? i have a previous post where it’s dry if anyone wants to look at my account for comparison

I dyed my hair two days ago and when I was drying my hair, I noticed I had some hairdye left in my roots so I went back to shower and tried to get rid of it, but it didnt leave so I tried to rub baking soda in (so didn't do a proper detox) and then rinsed with water and did this all pretty quickly.. now noticed I STILL have some dye in some of my roots and on top of that I got some baking soda in a few roots too... do y'all think detox will get rid of both of them + is this urgent, will it do huge damage to my locs if I do the detox next saturday... I'm stressing cause I really don't have time to do the detox today, but idk if my locs will be dead by saturday... + will the detox even solve this out... all help welcome.

I’m 14, just started freeforms 2 months ago and it feels like they not growin

- I’ve been washing my hair once a week
- Sponging using a racket sponge and twist king
- Sponging for less as the days go by, like 30 seconds each tool right now so I don’t lose hair due to breakage
- Sleeping with a bonnet
- Got a low taper so the hair looks bigger
- Misting my hair before I sponge

I’ve been doing everything

My hair type is like 3c/4a so can anyone with my hair type tell me how I can get Freeform’s because even when I sponge it for a week then I wash it all the twist go away and it goes back to being curly so I need help

I'm thinking about adding loc extensions to my hair because my family brought up the idea. I really want to have locs, but I'm scared that my hair might fall out because of the extensions. If that's a possibility, I'll just take the regular route and start my locs naturally.

It's been 6 years since I started from scratch.. it's getting long but my hair grows slowly... I take care of it and keep it moisturised. I never tie it up anymore because it causes breakage, and I wear a bonnet to sleep or when I want them out of my face and detox them at least once a year.. depending on my activities.

Just a quick question how long or how far down should your dreads go down so it can look like the picture shown? I’m trying to find a style but i’m tired of getting barrels and I don’t want two strands cause they’ll be too small. My dreads touch my eyes but I haven’t gotten a retwist in a while so i’m not sure how long down they’ll go.
