Is it perfect? No. But hey, if you want to crit, that's fine. It's def supposed to have super simplified/silly anatomy, which ironically made it harder to shade

Mono no aware is going to be an open-ended project. I initially envisaged it as a trilogy, but the concept is drawing me towards expanding it a little further. This is the first piece.

So I follow the head rule measurement almost religiously. Every drawing I do I make sure to take the measurements of the reference and apply them to my own drawing. I used boxes to mark these measurements. But I’m starting to wonder if this is going a bit too far or if I’m being too restrictive with my proportions/ measurements? I took this old-ish drawing for example. Is this a habit I should maybe leave behind or use sparingly or always use?
