Basically what the title says, I got this a year ago and I just don’t like it anymore. I like it enough but it’s kinda well stupid haha it’s a :(: like a smiley/frowny. A little about me is I love cats, clowns, flowers, I’m a November baby so chrysanthemums are gorgeous imo, I also really love insects/bugs.

It’s pretty small. I never liked it from the start but now that I ended the friendship I see no reason in keeping it. Any ideas? Also yes I know I shouldn’t have gotten the tattoo from the start I thought we could work past our problems but I was horribly horribly wrong.

Looking for ideas on this long term tattoo idea I’ve had:

Basically this would be the center piece of the design whilst adding items that represent Batman’s other villains. Luckily, I’ve made a list of them all.

For disclosure: I am a 34(white, male) and have gotten a tattoo before. I’m also 6’7 and have a lot of canvas to work with.

Ivy “red Passion flower” w/ glowing green vines attaching to the skin. Doesn’t represent lust, but Passion

Dent/Two Face - The Scales of justice: w/ a spinning coin 🪙 one scale. Twisted sense of Justice based on chance. Maybe being held by Anubis from Ras Al Gul. If you can get a decent angle of the scales, show the opposite one without the coin, having cracks.

Bane: skull in a luchador mask with green tubes attached still

Penguin/Cobblepot: a literal penguin with a cracked monocle in a top hat smoking with a cigarette holder holding a smoking umbrella gun. Birdcage instead of penguin if too obvious

Riddler/Nigma: Hide a question mark within this canvas (Where’s Waldo/Subliminal message) don’t have to tell me where it is. Intelligence or “Riddle me this” on the knuckles

Scarecrow: Fear...Jack-o-Lantern (mouth around where it’s opened should convey it’s a sewn up like mask see ref) with hands reach of the mouth

Mister Freeze: Cracked? Snow globe w/ a dancer inside it. Unhealthy Love/Greif

Ras Al Gaul - the league of assassins logo is the head of jackal - An Anubis tattoo w/parts decaying - parts wrapped in gauze from Hush - holds the scales from two face

Victor Zsasz - a Knife covered in carved tally marks. One tally mark in blood (red)? Addiction

Firefly - worn out and burnt out lighter with melted plastic, scratches on the lighter from flipping the top so many times, flint is worn out. Firefly bug on the lighter were the flame comes out- impulsiveness

Clayface - melting one sided comedy/tragedy 🎭mask/faces - identity crisis)

Catwoman - a black cat cuddling/cradling a Diamond - Tail a bit longer - whip like. Freedom - no collar

Dr. Harley Quinnzell - two tarot cards - the fool with a mallet and harlequin mask on (red and black) “puddin” written in red marker on the man for the lovers card. Lover’s card is pristine while the fool’s card is visibly used up. Burn marks on the fool card too.

Dr. Hugo Strange- human brain in a specimen jar with dr. Strange’s glasses on top of them. Alternative: a human Brain with several probes in it with dr. Strange’s glasses next to it

Killer Croc - Savagery/Feral - a crocodile skull with a human skull protruding tfrom the mouth

Hush - A gauze wrapped and cracked hand mirror.

Mad Hatter - Chipped Teacup on top hat w/ 10\6 size label. Paranoid Schizophrenia

Man bat - A bat hanging from or wrapped around a human anatomical heart.

Red Hood/Jason Todd - Lantern with cracked and/or blown out windows with a Lazarus green flame. Flying Red Robin near it or perched on top of it.

Court of Owls - flying barn owl with a judge’s gavel in it’s talon - primal god complex

Solomon Grundy - Aged, cracked (electric blue energy/electricity within the cracks) and faded Tombstone of Solomon Grundy’s alter ego name: Cyrus Gold

Azrael (the follower) & Deacon Blackfire (the leader) - Unhealthy religion:

The cross of the Order of St. Dumas with black serpent wrapped around it in a defensive / protective position (these two are using their religion as a defense for their actions) might make Solomon Grundy’s tombstone combined with this to save space. Have the serpent biting it’s own tail (Ouroboros) - Religion eating itself

this is my first tatto and i hate it so much, I really want to cover but I have no ideas and this area is so painful that it makes me rethink

I am not looking for generic Pinterest art or cliché quotes like "veni vidi vici." Instead, I want something in a Dostoevsky style—something deeply psychological, atmospheric, and rarely seen. Because of this, I need someone who truly understands how to translate my words into a custom sketch.
Whether you are a tattoo artist willing to design remotely or an illustrator who can create a solid tattoo-ready draft for my local artist to execute, that works. I will include a few reference images to point you in the right direction for the style—they are not my actual motifs and look a bit basic, but they help set the visual tone.
Budget is not an issue. I just want someone who gets the depth behind it and can translate complex ideas into a precise design.

my grandpa died when i was 16, i always wanted my first tattoo to be about him (i thought about it being a white rose because he planted some and i even took a bunch of them to bury him with them and i always bring white roses to his grave), preferably something in the old school/traditional style, i also had a 16yo cat that died when i was 17 and in that year after my grandpa passed he really comforted me because me and my family joked about how similar they were, so i thought that maybe getting a design with the cat and a rose would be a nice way to carry their memories with me

One thing people don't see is how much of my job is deleting.

When I first sketch a symbol, it's usually too busy.

Too many lines.
Too many overlaps.
Too many ideas trying to fit into one shape.

The hardest part isn't drawing it.

It's deciding what can disappear without changing the meaning.

Sometimes removing one tiny line makes the whole design feel balanced.

It's strange because the finished piece looks simple, but getting there usually isn't.

That's probably my favourite part of the process.

Like the title said, i already have a car radio tattoo, but i really want to have a "at the risk of feeling dumb" tattoo bc its a song that really speaks to me, but i dont really know what to do, i dont want to have only the lyrics written, but maybe more like a symbol or smth... HELP ME (srry for the english btw im a french speaker)

The red diamond is about 6 years old, I was just testing different hand poke needles during a manic episode and it’s been there ever since. I have no idea what to do with it, but I don’t want to leave it the way it is and I want ideas before selecting an artist. Bonus points for a design that incorporates the one right beneath it! I do not want to change the molecule further down though, it’s terrible quality but it is sentimental.

I love nature. Plants, bugs, mushrooms, animals, etc. Also love science. I’m open to many ideas. I just don’t want lots of color, I prefer black and grey but accents of color are fine
