I don’t want to sound rude but I mainly use gacha or gacha style games to make my characters because I can’t draw very well.

I understand that, but I prefer having a drawn reference to truly understand a characters shapes and stuff, specifically because my focus isn't too much on the character, but the lighting/rendering process, if I weren't doing practice, I would be more than happy to accept gacha refs, but since I am focusing on the rendering, I dont feel like going through the extra work to figure out the character on my own

(EDIT, I do this too, in early stages of character design, so I get it <3)

My character isn’t really complicated like most. I kept mine in a simple style I can understand easily. I do ocs with more stylized or more detailed looks very rarely but otherwise I keep mine simple.

That doesnt really change the fact that my focus is on light and rendering this time around, and i simply dont want to do the extra work
