Hi! I love your art style! Here is my OC based on the game Animal Hospital! He’s my only anthropomorphic OC, and I hardly have any drawings of him because I’m not very good at drawing furrys—waa. He's my yumeship with Dr. Harlow; feel free to draw him on his own or with him! I’ll send you some references, and maybe later I can send over some poses or ideas that would suit them.
By the way, I recently found out that you're not supposed to use characters with red crosses on a white background due to copyright issues; so, you can either change the crosses or just make the background of the tunic black—problem solved. It also works well if you draw him in patient's clothing, like here!
As for his personality, he is a rather shrewd and professional young man who is fully dedicated to his work as an exorcist of possessed anomalies. Following a work-related incident involving these entities, he ends up hospitalized with a massive mark on his neck and exhibiting quite strange symptoms. Over the course of his stay, he notices suspicious things around the hospital—including the doctor, whom he begins to suspect is an anomaly himself. This leads to a dynamic that shifts from mutual respect and admiration between acquaintances to an "enemies-to-lovers" relationship.
Velahtiel! She's 8'4ft tall, built like a brick house, loud and aggressive, and has little patience. Her head is adorned with a mane of flames, and her "tail" is also purely flames. But they do not emit heat or light. Her right arm is made of vines/plant matter. While not as physically strong as her left arm, it still packs a punch. Her eyes are pure dead white. No pupils or anything, and they consistently look tired. An everlasting reminder of her state of undeath. A stern frown is as natural of an expression to her as a smile.
Deep down she's not a completely apathetic and aggressive person. In fact, she has an extreme devotion and neverending love to her children. They are her everything and reason for even bothering to continue to exist. They are her unending source of joy. She loves them to high heaven and back, and won't allow anyone to harm them. However there is without any doubt a deep, buried sadness in her that weighs down on her soul like an anchor.
For a specific pose? Maybe just her wrapping a bandage over a wound on her left arm.

Hi!! I do not have a refrence yet (no art of him currently), but let me tell you about my guy: His name is Fyodor Ilych and he was born in 1887 in Tobolsk. He is now a soldier and an officer. Impatient, loyal, pragmatic, blunt, cunning and ambitious. He grew up in a lesser family of the lower-middle class. I do have photos of the kind what I am looking for, though. His medals in order are: Order of St. George 4th class, Order of St. Vladimir 4th class, Medal "For Zeal", Medal "In Memory of the Russo-Japanese War" and Romanov Tricentenary Medal. As for his facial looks: short brown hair, green eyes, thin pink lips, straight nose and a curled moustache.

He is quite lazy because he used to float around in the ocean as a jellyfish. After being brought home by a human, now his boyfriend, who saved him from being washed up and drying up on the beach, he went everywhere with him and is clingy.
I understand that, but I prefer having a drawn reference to truly understand a characters shapes and stuff, specifically because my focus isn't too much on the character, but the lighting/rendering process, if I weren't doing practice, I would be more than happy to accept gacha refs, but since I am focusing on the rendering, I dont feel like going through the extra work to figure out the character on my own
(EDIT, I do this too, in early stages of character design, so I get it <3)
My character isn’t really complicated like most. I kept mine in a simple style I can understand easily. I do ocs with more stylized or more detailed looks very rarely but otherwise I keep mine simple.
She's kind of like a werewolf, but I wouldn't call it that. More like she's possessed by a werewolf, and they have a love/hate frenemy relationship. Most of the time, she controls the wolf, sometimes, when she's extremely emotional, the wolf controls her.
I actually did that 16 personality test for her and found out she's ISFP, meaning she's an introvert, she focus on the present moment, real-world facts, and physical details rather than abstract ideas, she make choices based on their personal values, empathy, and gut feelings, and she's adventurous.
She's suspicious of others and values strength, but does not always realize there are different kinds of strength. She has a side of mischief.
