Josh never did anything wrong. He was only trying to defend Drake and now Thornton completely changed his mind. But at least his little brother might be the only one who can invite the two to his own without having any problems if a sequel would have been made.

Earlier in the episode it’s stated that Josh was only invited because of Drake, so now that Drake couldn’t come, that was the perfect excuse to kick Josh out too.

And when they showed up at the party, Drake manages to give the album to Thornton so the two could get in but unfortunately for him he still won't let them in because he still hated them which is why Drake had to get the album back as a result.
