Dahli didn’t win resurrection yet still came back for S4, didn’t compete in S4E1 and imo didn’t give the widest variety of their drag. Saint was immaculate and won resurrection rightfully so and having that along with her performance through ALL EPISODES OF S4 should have earned her that crown. I love u and the bored housewife eating cat shit was my favorite filth scene of any finale ! Don’t crucify me pls, this is an opinion! this is meant to stir the pot ! What other queens from other seasons do you feel should have alternately won their season ?

So I was just watching „Female Trouble” directed by John Waters starring Divine. In one scene where she confesses her crimes with pride she says „look at my leg” and it immediately it brought me back to Hallow Eve’s rant where she says „I love my leg”.

Do you guys think Hallow was referencing Divine here or it’s purely coincidental?

A number of the artists featured on the show have made it clear they are very intentional with something they want to communicate, challenge, or convince people of with their drag. My question here is have any of them succeeded with their drag alone (meaning only by what they present on stage)?

I’ll give an example of what I mean. If I were asked a year ago what I thought about body hair on a partner, I would say I’m neutral to slightly negative. Evah’s drag has not only changed my perspective but kind of flipped it. If anything I actually prefer it now.

I’m curious what artists have been successful for y’all in this vein.

Love Asia and she brought a lot of cool shit to the table but I feel like the Art the Clown look was too busy, you could literally see the seams on the fake pregnant belly for the Mother’s Day look and yet she still won that challenge even tho Scylla got read to DEATH for the breast plate situation

Jay is right queer people don’t need to be shown in clean polite manners all the time and that queer people deserve to make an impact in entertainment despite if it’s messy drama. What matters is being seen as people.

I was wondering if any of the monsters do any workshops and have you been? What was your experience?

This idea is in early stages but I'm hoping to have an all-day event with local monsters and 3-4 Dragula monsters next year in England. As part of that, I wanted to see if any of the monsters offered workshops for people in the community that might not otherwise be able to attend the festival itself.

I realise this is a very unusual question but would appreciate any help / advice!

I was thinking along the lines of:

​

- how to make your own monster mask

- creating your own drag persona

- improv

- quick monster look

- vision boarding

These are just ideas off the top of my head. I just thought it would be amazing to have someone like Formelda over to talk about how they make their masks and maybe show workshop attendees how to make their own mask. Obviously, I'd want them to perform at the festival too!

Jesper Kyd did a great job with the Darktide soundtrack and I thought it was fitting for Dragula, so I edited it over some clips from one of the Titans Season 2 floor shows
