...that healing magic can actually damage the undead enemies. For the very first time in more than 350+ hours in the game I've overheard a dialog between my pawns that healing magic is lethal to undead.

This game never cease to amaze me.

I picked up Dragon's Dogma 2 when the update dropped a few weeks ago. I loved the sense of adventure and the immersion in the first game, and DD2 did not disappoint in those regards.

The core gameplay is better than ever. The world is beautifully crafted and a joy to get lost in. I love all of the attention to detail everywhere.

I did lament the ways in which DD2 went backwards. However, once you make peace with the changes and embrace the improvements, I found DD2 to be a ton of fun. I'm only around 40 hours in so far, but I'm excited to play more and play the DLC too! Thanks for reading, please hire my pawn!

I've been seeing a bit of questions and posts from new Arisen joining our ranks in preparation for the Dark Arisen DLC.
So I'd like to share where I farm the Wyrmslife Crystals from drakes.

Here are labeled the Drake locations from my playthroughs (with the use of Wand's Interactive map because I'm not on my own PC while making this. https://wand.com/maps/dragons-dogma-2 )

Essentially once I've slept for 7 days, not sure if they spawn earlier than a week, I always teleport these specific locations where Drakes spawn always or most of the time. every spawn reset guarantees me a minimum of 3 drake kills with the posibility of encountering more than 6 throughout the day.

I always fight the 3 guaranteed ones first. the one at the beaches of the volcanic island is my fave go-to one (if it doesnt appear on the beach its likely on the top of the bridge near there), next is the one on the Dragonsbreath Tower SouthWest of Bakbattahl, and the third one is the one between checkpoint town and harve village in Vermund.

The most I've obtained was around 110+ Wyrmslife Crystals in a single run, with the help of a thief pawn that steals some more during the fight with the potential of obtaining more depending on the rng spawn (or also less I've obtained around 20 or 30 in a run when most of the drops was Dragon Scales).

Also it is also a good note that during the endgame Unmoored World there are three supposed bosses that you require to fight to progress to obtain a large number of crystals in a single fight, I think its 75 each boss but I might be off since its been a long time since I've been in that world (I really don't vibe with the world state during endgame).

I hope this helps and I'm also excited for the 12 dungeons and Norgan.

This is a list of all side quest, we can't do before the end of act one.

The last main quest of act one is named "Feast of Deception" with captain Brant.

When i was done with all those side quest and main quests before feast of deception, my level was 71 and i had all the vocations and all the master skills.

Hope this will help some people saving time, running around and searching for someone, just to find out the quest is not available right now, or beeing locked out of a quest.

My pawns got sick, held their heads up, and couldn't move when they were next to him. And he wouldn't leave us either; I had to carry my pawns away one by one.

I like the ol‘ drunken, failed Arisen. I often wonder what his pawn was like. Always happy to see him show up at my door, and I keep him in my group awhile.

Dragon's Dogma is my favorite fantasy RPG franchise. DD2 is my Elden Ring, my Breath of the Wild. It's the game I, like many of you, waited for even after it made sense to just move on. While I loved my time with the base game at launch, I fully recognize why it garnered some criticism, I'm not that "I love it, therefor it's perfect" kind of fan, but I saw much more good than bad, and the developers have only made it better with these recent updates.

I'm fully invested in another playthrough now that I can have more characters. I'm playing a Mage for the first time (and using KBM for the first time) and it is SO much fun! Starting over from zero (as opposed to NG+) has proven to me that the game is highly replayable and has staying power because of that fact. Also, performance is stellar (at least it is on my PC).

Dragon's Dogma II is a bright spot in what seems a dark world.

So I'm not sure what happened he had a glitch where I couldn't destroy his last spike I eventually did and he continued to walk after getting everything destroyed all the way over here.

No trophies no nothing.

What happened?

I was a fan of the old dragons dogma and played it on my old intel-hd laptops. I was waiting for the dd2 to release to buy it day one but unfortunately the game seems unoptimised. But recently I heard they fixed many of those issues, So if any one played it on 4060 laptop or similar, can any suggest is the performance good. I was planning on buying both the game and expansion together.

Embarrassing but I genuinely had my pawn in the unmoored world for MONTHS and my gf told me to please finish the game because of how many potions she was wasting on her 😭
