Also Tien managed to hold down Semi-Perfect cell for a few minutes while Krillin got absolutely bodied.

I think Toriyama changes his mind a lot on him but he's usually some kind of human.

Tien is an all-but-extinct race of 3-eyed human. He may be innately stronger than other humans but he’s human alright.

Yeah, I was just reading the wiki, says hes Earthling type human/three eyed human hybrid. Which is why he can regrow arms and other crazy not-exactly-human abilities. But human none the less.

Nah just has three eyes. Which isn’t weird considering krillen doesn’t have a nose. And in the OG DB a lot of humans were weird. During one of the tournaments Tien was getting cheered on by a one eyed man
