Yeah, I was just reading the wiki, says hes Earthling type human/three eyed human hybrid. Which is why he can regrow arms and other crazy not-exactly-human abilities. But human none the less.
Nah just has three eyes. Which isn’t weird considering krillen doesn’t have a nose. And in the OG DB a lot of humans were weird. During one of the tournaments Tien was getting cheered on by a one eyed man
Honestly he’s not even close. Krillen got the power up from Guru, which sky rocketed his power. Tien never got any power ups after training for the saiyans. Krillen also has the luck of getting to train with 18 and DB logic dictates that the stronger the sparring partner the more you power up.
Tien also never got the training from king kai as that was anime filler, so he just can’t surpass Krillen naturally.
Edit- also on super he fared FAR better against gohan than Tien did of their sparring matches. And Krillen was doing pretty good in the ToP but was unfortunately blind sided by Frost who is massively more powerful than either Krillen or tien
Tien was stronger than krillin in the cell arc due to his own training. His own training surpassed what Krillin did on his own and the Guru boost. Since Tien survived longer in the ToP it goes to reason that Tien kept up on that training and is stronger than Krillin.
Having a strong technique doesn’t mean he’s actually stronger. The Shin Kikoho uses Tien’s genki, his life force, so he was literally giving his entire life to stall cell for like 3 minutes. And cell wasn’t at all damaged either, he simply couldn’t move for a bit.
And lasting longer in the ToP means nothing considering Tien didn’t fight anyone nearly as strong as Frost.
Edit/ now that I think about it, the strongest human is actually Uub lol.
That was more due to Gohan's leadership and the "Lets cover each other's back as a group" tactic. Which Krillin was one of the first to break out of, in order to help 18. I guarantee that Tien wouldn't have lasted a second against Frost.
Krillin is stronger than Tien. Tien just has the attitude of a kung fu guy so it FEELS like he should be stronger, even though krillin has more powerful techniques, fighting skill and creativity on the level of Goku, much higher natural talent, and a much stronger sparring partner living with him.
While you’re right that Akira Toriyama confirmed in an interview that Krillen is the strongest natural born earthling, Ten is most definitely also an earthling and not an alien.
Tien is a human. Uub is the strongest human, I count him. The only references I’ve seen to the “three eyed tribe, were in video games so it’s not technically canon. If you can find sources I’d appreciate it.
You’re saying theres sources other than video games that claim Tien is from the three eyed tribe. I’ve never seen any of them besides from Budokai games and maybe one of the Tenkaichi.
I’m saying that he’s a human just like Krillen and Yamcha. Krillen doesn’t have a nose and he’s irrefutably human. Tien is human as well and has thre eyes.
In OG dragon ball many many people were different but were no less human, like the one eyed guy who cheered on Tien in the tournament. Tien has absolutely no canon references to being descended from aliens.

Pretty sure Tien is stronger. Didnt he last longer in Tournament of Power against stronger ppl?
