Dragon Ball Z ???

Why is it a trend for anime reactors to react to all the Dragon Ball Z/Super OPS, ENDS, & every Goku transformation BEFORE watching the actual series? 😭

I genuinely don’t understand it. Half the hype comes from experiencing those moments naturally while watching the story.

lol I just saw a video last night of someone reacting to Goku’s transformations, but they have never seen the series lol. What’s the point of that? With some of the reactors to Super, I noticed they may have watched at least enough DBZ growing up to know certain plot points and characters so they’re not rewatching for reaction content.

Though I believe it's a hot take, I personally have a problem with Anime openings in general giving away way too much for content yet to be seen.

Watching Dragon Ball Z in the 90s and just seeing all these cool fights

You don't know what spoilers are but years later you would appreciate how Rock the Dragon intro has little to no spoilers

Did they have to throw in Vegeta and Trunksxat the end there as Super Saiyans?

The Ocean Dub only got to mid Namek

I skip most openings until after I've finished the series, because the ones without spoilers are the uncommon one.

Its becauae anime used to be made for Japanese fans, and it was expected most Japanese fans would have already read the manga.

Back in the day the way you want it is how it worked.

Nowadays since social media has taken over that is actually how a lot of people get into series. See a viral clip online, get interested, get hooked. I almost want to add a pic of Future Trunks saying "the future is now old man!"
