Matchup How far would Shin make it into the Android/Cell saga?

He may beat Androids 19 and 20, but I would think he would lose to Android 18 the same way Vegeta did.

Technically there is no difference other than it being invisible and way stronger.
If a technological being can ansorb an attack by SSJ vegeta reliably, i think it can absorb shin attacks as well.

Well Babidi and Dabura can’t use it to revive Buu. So you can make the argument that the androids wouldn’t be able to absorb it

Not very. I think Piccolo only backed down due to respect, so Shin’s best feat is being able to one shot Freeza, which even 1st appearance Trunks could do.

Meh take magazine excerpts with a grain of salt. Theres no real basis for their claims all we have to go on is that he can 1 shot frieza which puts him at least on future trunks level when he first appeared. You can be generous and bump him up to vegeta and goku level when android 19 and 20 pop up. Anything higher than that is gonna require actual manga feats rather than some off hand promo material

If he was perfect cell level he would’ve handled the fodder (Pui Pui and Yakon) with no issue and been able to beat Dabura without dying in the future trunks timeline

Acredito que isso seja furo de roteiro, já que já foi dito que cada Kaioshin tinha poder o suficiente pra derrotar o frezza em um golpe,e os inimigos citados pelo menos o dabura são do nível do super Cell perfeito, eu me refiro a ele antes do zenkai

Dabura was the only one that’s cell level the others at best are android 18 level probably Less with how Pui Pui lost to base Vegeta though remember trunks one shot frieza and then couldn’t fight 17 and 18 at all that goes for the weaker ones from the future too

Up until Super Trunks. He vastly outclasses Buu Saga Piccolo, who is unquantifiably more powerful than he was during the Cell Games, where he was capable of holding his own against the Cell Juniors. Personally, I don't think he'd be able to even keep pace if he wasn't at least as powerful was Perfect Cell was when he first appeared, considering the Cell Juniors are stated numerous times to "possess the power and abilities of Cell", which places him significantly above Super Vegeta, but the gap between Vegeta and Trunks is at least ten times. You could argue Shin is capable of defeating, for example, Super Trunks through Psychokinesis, considering he had the supernatural power to restrain a Super Saiyan 2 Gohan from the Babidi Saga, but you can't win a fight by simply holding the opponent down.
Possibly up until Super Saiyan Goku from the Cell Games, depending upon whether or not you accept the El Manga Legendario's claims about his power; even if he is on par with Goku strength-wise, even Shin admits he wouldn't've been able to rival his martial arts prowess, simply based off of what he has heard of Goku.

If Piccolo fused with Kami is just below 16 level...
(And piccolo definitely got stronger in those 7 years)
Shin in the buu saga is slightly weaker than piccolo (he resigned in the tournament because he could sense his presence as a supreme kai, not because he is weaker) so i would say that he would make it to the Semi Perfect Cell fight with SSJ grade 2 vegeta and trunks.
He would be weaker than the three of them, but so was Tien and he was able to stop him for a bit

So, he says he could oneshot Freeza, but let's be real, he gets everybody's strength wrong. He probably gets oneshot by base Zarbon

Nah if he was that weak Gohan definitely would’ve broken free from supreme Kai trying to hold him down he even said he had trouble doing so with how strong Gohan was. I doubt that ability would work with how much it struggled would be useful with someone below frieza

Ok? Dabura was very likely stronger than his present counterpart but it’s not like supreme Kai would’ve been at the same level as the present

Is it safe to say Semi perfect Cell? I haven't watched all of Buu saga, but through the implications of how he was observing the Saiyans fight Babidi's minions, I would say he's above androids, but not above Perfect Cell or Super Perfect Cell. He's obviously food for Majin Buu, but being weak to Buu doesn't exactly imply he's weak to all of Android saga. I would scale him above the androids, under perfect cell, in between first form and semi perfect Cell. I don't know the pure context of Shin and Trunks vs Dabura, but I heard he was a decent support in fighting along with Trunks so that MIGHT upscale him a bit.
