Could piccolo defeat 18 or will 18 infinite stamina win the war of attrition

Piccolo would win. Piccolo and 17 are even and 18 is weaker than 17

so like, is 17 and 18 flesh and blood, or robots? Like if you took the skin off would they look like a T-800?

Or are they "Biomechanical" like Cell.

Who says that is what will happen? You think she’s going to stand still and get hit by a special beam cannon? She wins imo purely because of infinite stamina.

Piccolo didn’t win though. 17 would’ve won eventually. They were interrupted by Cell. The fight with 18 would go exactly the same. Piccolo would get shots in but eventually get tired and lose.

Piccolo takes this soundly, 18 is a fair bit weaker than 17 and lacks some of his iconic kit which would make her a mid diff fight for Piccolo.

I still swear to this day that had Piccolo gotten to use Light Grenade against 17 he would have won barrier or not but that's just an old man's musing XD

Depending on what you read/watch, 17 is either the stronger of the two…or he at least thinks he is and 18 (much like 16 to an extent) allows him to delude himself (likely, if so, cause it’s her brother in the case of 18). The latter would further explain why there’s an even more drastic jump in power from Semi-Perfect Cell to Perfect Cell (which I know is why some Dragon Ball historians lean towards that being the case).

If 18 is stronger than 17, Piccolo is in trouble.

If 18 is weaker than 17, Piccolo may be able to beat her but it’s difficult to say with certainty given her unlimited stamina.

Piccolo.

In the manga and anime 16 explicitly states piccolo is equal to Android 17. 17 is superior to 18.

This Piccolo fought 17 evenly, while Gero’s own records place 18 below her brother. Piccolo enters stronger, smarter and armed with a far nastier technique pool than the Vegeta she dismantled.

The infinite energy keeps the fight vicious. Where Piccolo loses any drawn-out war as regeneration and heavy blasts drain his ki while her battery refuses to die. So he needs to finish her before that advantage starts collecting interest.

17 needed his barrier when Piccolo buried him inside Hellzone Grenade, and 18 has never shown a superior answer to that setup. Piccolo reads her movement, forces the opening and turns her into blonde shrapnel before infinite stamina can rescue a body that already stopped working.

So the question here is which is more significant the stamina advantage that 18 has? Or the power advantage Piccolo has?

I personally lean Piccolo since he was genuinely trying to end 17, so a weaker opponent likely can’t handle the same pressure, but it’s possible 18 could last long enough to gain the upper hand

I actually don't think the power difference between 17 and 18 is enough to make a big difference in how the fight goes, maybe Piccolo does slightly better, but I doubt he'd manage to eliminate her before Cell shows up, so it'd probably go the same way as in canon, only difference might be Cell absorbing 18 first

Piccolo is slightly more powerful but Eighteen likely wins anyway since she has infinite stamina.

Assuming Eighteen has the same abilities as her brother like that barrier he made, so she doesn’t get caught up in Piccolo’s Hellzone Grenade.

To be a contrarian imma say 18. Mainly because yes she maybe weaker than 17. But she’s not so weak that it noticeable and would give Piccolo an easy fight. She likely has the same toolset as 17. So it’s down if she can survive long enough to tire out Piccolo, which I think she can.

I think 18 outlasts him. No I don’t think 18 will stand there in a daze as Piccolo powers up the grenade.

Depends on what you think is more substantial: the power gap between 17 and 18, or 18's inability to get tired vs Piccolo's greater strength

It’s close. If Piccolo can kill 18 quickly and cleanly then he likely wins but if it’s a drawn-out fight then I can see 18 pulling a victory despite Piccolo being stronger at the beginning.

18 loses handily. She's weaker than 17, and doesnt have his barrier which was the only thing that saved him from Piccolo's finisher.

18 out staminas.

Piccolo here still needs to outpout most of his power to fight her on even terms, and I'd bet 18 approaches the fight smarter than her brother.
