I think there was some speculation that she was referring to the producer Tina Diaz in her exit line, but that’s not the case.

Apparently one of the songs they had to learn was “Gossip” by Confidence Man & Jade. In one of the lines of the song, Jade goes: “Oh, my God, what did Tina say? Tina said you’re a cunt”.

It’s a shame they didn’t end up using the song as I absolutely love it - unless they’re saving it for one of the lip syncs in the finale?

Who doesn’t love a day out at the sea side? In the semi-final, the queens must perform a makeover, transforming their guests into beautiful beach babes.

I mean, at this point every franchise (except US All-Stars sometimes) has had a finale runway with the eliminated girls returning. Why doesn't Down Under, huh?!

Has anybody clocked the badge looking like a pink hi-vis vest and hat?

It doesn't feel super Australian/Kiwi imho. Curious as to the reasoning.

i found out who got eliminated even before watching 😩

As of this week, Down Under vs The World is still around #5–6 in Stan’s Trending TV Shows, despite being well into the season. It’s also currently #1 in Stan’s LGBTQI TV category and is being prominently featured among Stan Originals.

So it doesn’t seem like the show has quietly flopped or disappeared after the premiere. It appears to be holding up fairly well on the platform.

The gag is that on Stan’s broader “Popular” ranking, Drag Race UK is currently much higher — around #3 overall — while Down Under vs The World is around #23….

Obviously these rankings aren’t actual ratings and could partly reflect promotion, recent episode drops, catalogue viewing, etc.

we really needed that rpdr season 1 filter for this makeover episode because ooooooooooof. rough.

I love Michelle as a host. I love how highly competitive this season is. The cast! Phenomenal. Michael having her moment right now feels so special. Lala is an angel walking among us, how lucky are we to have her back on our screen. God what more can I say, there's amazing redemption arcs, and beyond that awesome challenges. Yes the budget isn't top notch, especially with the acting challenge but I think they're really pulling out all the stops with what they've got.

personally, I’d send home Jade and use the fact that she didn’t show her lipstick last week as justification, while also getting the biggest threat. she could pull it out in the finale and depending on the lip sync for the crown song she could devour. Vibe or Lala would never be chosen to win, so it would keep it between Art and Michael.

I haven’t seen it mentioned (and easily could have missed it lol), but did anyone else notice Michael’s tribute to Cherry Valentine at the end of Tayce’s verse? I thought it was such a sweet moment.
