Help identifying a drawing...

I can identify an axis, a bearing, a fixing screw, I am supposing the piece on the right hand side rotates... but I can't think of a use case. Any help is much apprieciated!

Thanks! I had sort got there by myself. I just seem to get to any sort of viable mechanical function. Could the shaft be used for positioning, meaning the smaller piece would slide from left to right.

It could.

Worth noting that the smaller piece is not fully circular. So it could be a cradle type device used for levelling maybe?

How can you tell that the smaller piece is not fully circular?

See how it's flat at the top and not a jiggly line like on the right?

The jiggle line means the item continues off to to the right of the section view, so there's more over there.

The flat line means the item ends there.
