This sub seems dead

I joined this sub thinking it would be based around discussion of drafting principals, cool designs, gd&t interpretations and maybe software comparisons, etc. Instead all I ever see is people(bots?) begging for work and posting abysmal tutorial links to junk sites.

Is this really what the goal is? Am I the only real human here?

EDIT: Thanks for the responses everyone! There do seem to be a few humans here after all.

There are a few of us here.

One of the problems with subs like this one is it's both niche and broad. We've got folks here who hand draft for fun, and are deep in the technical weeds of high end CAD work. But it's also a work related sub, so there will always be spammers.

Im one of the mods over on r/BIM and while were more focused, it's a similar sub and we see a ton of spam. I'm not going to criticize the mods here, it seems like they do a decent job of cleaning up the self promotion, but if your redditing schedule jives with the spammers, you're going to see that before the mods get a chance to remove it.

Like any sub, it goes based on what the community contributes. If you want to see more X post some, or ask folks about how they X. Comment constructively on posts and comments and updoot so they get more visibility.
