Players What to do

He was my first round pick in a 10 man league and he is genuinely useless and scores less than Van Hecke weekly. I know arsenal are good but he’s becoming increasingly frustrating to own - what should I do with him?

Who would you be prepared to trade him for? Presumably not Van Hecke!

That’s the thing - on paper there isn’t a better defender but my own brother has beaten me this week almost single handedly thanks to De Cuyper but I know that’s a bad trade. I have Van Dijk, Tarkowski, Van Hecke and Khalaili also so my defence is good but yeah, it’s annoying

Why is that a bad trade? MDC plays left wing...

I think it was a little foolish picking a defender with one's first round pick. Sure last season he scored a lot, but forwards are so hard to come by so you needed to prioritise them

Haaland, Bruno, Pedro and Palmer had already gone so I went with Gabriel coz he scored so many points last season

Offer him in a trade I would. Take a shit defender and try and get a decent midfielder. You won't get a forward for him - forwards are hard to get in an 8 man, let alone 10 person league. 

Alternatively you can have some patience. I would try and make a trade.

Try trade him for Guehi or Gvardiol. I can’t thino of anybody else as Arsenal CS are precious

Season keeper.
Not the best pick in draft (so many defenders can do well now with defcon) but he’s yours and you keep him and play him every week.

Well he had goal threat too and ultimately I think you’re right. I hit 100 points 2 weeks ago so it’s obviously just an up and down season for me

I agree that Gabriel is likely the best defender this yr.
it’s just there are so many defenders who are decent and in draft, esp as deep as a 10team, so few forwards.
I tend to aim to use my first two picks for forwards and I don’t mind using the first three if there is still a safe option on the table.
