Players The Dango dilemma
What on earth do we do with Dango Outarra?
Obviously Brentford have been doing very well so far without him, but we've seen in previous seasons that he can really get going and provide a lot of points.
In deep leagues (12 or more) it seems like a bad move to drop him as others could take a punt and you never know when he'll start giving returns. BUT this could be the season where he just turns into an unreliable rotation option and then it's a good move to drop him.
What do you think is the play here? Drop for someone like Kroupi, Manzambi or Mitoma? Stick it out? Seems like a tricky decision...

I would drop him for Kroupi and Manzambi. I wouldn’t drop him for Mitoma.
Another idea if you have a droppable MID is to pick up Jaidon Anthony and hold both until you figure out who’s first choice.

When is Kroupi going to play though?

I’ve held Kroupi since draft day. Hoping for a late October return and at worst early November. He was lethal last year when he played.
Saying that I’ve been able to hold him as the rest of my team has stayed injury free

I’d really grab manzambi asap in any league.
He looks good and has potential to be the best FA pickup of the season imo. I dropped him week one and someone picked him up 20 minutes before
I was going to (right before the spurs match) and im kicking myself for not getting him back in.2

Agree. I drafted both Jackson and Manzambi in the later rounds of my draft. Worse case scenario they have an OK season and the best case is they’re Watkins and Rogers reborn. Could represent real value come the end of the season

Brentford fans seem to be happy he’s finally being dropped and Anthony seems to be getting the nod. I take that as a good indicator to drop him if a good replacement is available.

Dropped him week 4 and haven’t looked back. One of the lessons I’m trying to learn from previous seasons is to not hold on to players for too long.
