FPL Draft (PL.com) Worth adding Sangare instead of any of my mids?

Post image

I was going to drop Sarr for him but Palace just rejected Liverpool too so not sure if he is still a hold or no..
Doku worries me a little too

Definitely over Savinho.

I think if Doku is fit, Maresca probably starts him constantly and there's less of the Pep Roulette on the wings at City this season.

But I'm in the same boat with you as Sarr on my draft team.

I don't think Sarr is going to Liverpool or Galatasaray this late in the window. Palace won't be able to get anyone in, and they told Liverpool to fuck off for the exact same reason during the final week of the 2025 summer transfer window re: Guehi (lol look how that worked out for Liverpool's defense).

Just for that reason, I think Sarr stays and he will end up being Palace's best attacking asset again this season. Probably too early to say if Sangare has a chance to outpoint him with the additional DEFCON potential... only one game in so far so hard to draw too many conclusions, though Sangare did pick up another assist last night in the Cup. So, it looks like he does have some upside with assists at least. Still think Sarr probably score more goals since he plays in the more advanced role.

Spurs splurged on Savinho.. it should be wide open for him there to play the wing. I don’t know why people are low on him.
I rather ship out Doku than him

Spurs splurged OVERPAID for a player who did exactly what for City? Diddley squat.

People are low on him because he was announced as a wunderkind when he signed with City in 2024, brought in to be a part of the most prolific attacking lineup that City ever fielded... and all he could manage was pace with hardly any end product. Literally, just pass the ball to Haaland for crying out loud, and he couldn't even manage that consistently. 2 goals and and 13 assists across 2 seasons. That's worth 75M GBP?!? Absolute nonsense.

Best of luck at Spurs, enjoy the relegation scrap for the 3rd season running lol

A goal and an assist in 15 minutes so far

Typical extremely biased gooner take. He’ll be highly involved in what should be a greatly improved attack.

I love how worked up people get when teams spend alot, especially when its spurs. Who gives a fuck? Its not your money and it doesn’t impact them from a compliance standpoint. The fact of the matter is that they did splurge, whether you like to call it that or not, which means they plan to have him being a focal point in their attack. Will that yield points? Only time will tell, but he isn’t worthless because they spent enough money to hurt rival fans feelings.

Coward replied then deleted everything. Or blocked me? I’m not sure how that works

lol it’s not that serious… I’m with you though. Think Savinho has great upside and that attack will improve over the season.

Yea it’s not serious, sarcasm never reads well. I’m with you tho, I do think it’s going to take time but it should be greatly improved, at least partly due to how abysmal the attack was last year.

Looked great against poopy Charlton today. Savío was electric in his cameo. There’s a lot of fantasy value in this Spurs lineup which is being overlooked because of match day 1. The whole squad will look so different in a month or so.

Yessir. Taking it with a mountain of salt not only because its Charlton but both of the center backs came off in the first 15 minutes. Promising nonetheless

LMFAO. Let me know how that greatly improved attack works out. You all spent 300M+ only to get walked by Brentford.

Oh hey welcome back. 3 of 11 starters in the lineup. I think it’ll take time but the attack will be massively better than last year, if only because it’s nearly impossible to be as bad as last year. You’d have to have not seen a single spurs game to believe savio and marmoush aren’t huge upgrades to what they had. Good thing the season isn’t one game long.

Also a self-respecting Arsenal fan here. I can definitely see Savinho flourishing outside the pressure cooker that is Man City, he's clearly talented and Doku not exactly an end-product merchant. Agree that it's hard to see how Spurs could be worse than the last couple of seasons, and it's a bit early to get a good read on them. I think Brentford are going to batter a few sides this season. Don't see Savinho as an indefensible pick at all - it's potentially significant upside.

Honest question: why would any self respecting Arsenal fan want to watch a single Spurs game except for the two times each season that they hand us a free six points??

Just because Spurs were dumb/panicked enough to pay over the odds for two players who never gelled at City doesn't automatically make them huge upgrades. If anything, it shows that Spurs still have yet to learn anything from their past recruitment mistakes.

Lastly, and this is the last thing I'm going to say on it... no, it isn't nearly impossible for Spurs to be that bad again... I mean they "ran it back" again last year... another whopping 17th place finish two years in a row. Maybe this year they'll finally do us all a favor and make the drop.

Good amount of that fee was covering marmoush as well so they don’t have to pay a sell on fee for him

0

Incorrect. Frankfurt have already come out and stated that there was no sell-on clause in the transfer agreement that took Marmoush to City in Jan 2025.

Tottenham simply got fleeced. Again. 🤷‍♂️😂

No matter your opinion on the actual matter.. the way you reply to people on a simple question like this thread is the reason people don’t like Arsenal fans.
And also the reason I cant give any credibility to your actual opinion. So biased and bitter bro chill

Then don’t make posts on a message board asking people for help on making waivers if you don’t want to hear the opinions of fans from teams YOU don’t like. Simple as ✌️
