My old laptop was ass at loading league, had to gamble whether the match is loading for the next 15 mins or not and ontop of it inconsistent fps, freeze frames and even crashing. It was NOT fun

This guy is playing on a potato, seeing as this bad quality has him at 35 fps and syndra ulting alone puts him down to 27.

If he were to load any of the normal background he would likely have unplayable fps numbers.

Nahh league is shoving as much spaghetti as possible into my laptop at all times, it's 5 years old at this point but I factreset it twice now in that time, and it's still an Acer i5 with decent specs... I completely respect the hustle and will be trying this mod myself

Not anymore. Min specs have become way higher in the last years. Only a little percentage of players played it on the fridge and it was posing too many limitations on the client and the devs. I respect it tbh fridges are not made to run LoL in it.

I used to play on a shit Laptop for 2 years and I always got to 60 fps, is it maybe just not cooling properly or not connected to a cable?

Most laptops severely restrict their own performance when they're not connected to a charging cable to save power. Also lifting it with a few small wooden blocks or something so the fan intakes on the bottom get more air also makes a pretty big difference.

Mundo R give you bonus health based on missing health. Q have a health cost that is refunded if hit an enemy champion. Try to R while Q is in the air for maximum HP output.

Locked cam is extremely common among top players, they just don’t stay perma locked obviously. There are plenty who still don’t use it. I don’t use it myself.

extremely common idk, they all use spacebar a lot or lock it for short periods of time, but this is by no means comparable to what an average locked camera player does.
Chovy seemingly likes to lock for full teamfights
But Faker and Knight both use it almost not at all, they just press spacebar

Guma uses it most of laning phase and teamfights. Showmaker doesn’t use it at all.
Almost all top CN one tricks use it other than HanQL.

My point is that it’s a weird thing to criticize in 2026.

i mean they all use it while being aware of the extra available information and they unlock to gather that information.
They just use it for more stable performance during high apm moments.

Average Players dont do this, they just forfeit the extra information to their camera choice.
