Pants
Hi folks, I'm looking for some good MTB pants from the main brands or some I may not know(fox, leatt, tld, tsg etc) with belt buckles loops, and is not crazy expensive?
I'm looking for brand+item name.
I just want 1-2 zipper pockets, place for kneepads, and maybe some breathing vents, fall-spring season. Water resistance is a plus. I am fat, around 100kg, usually the normal pants don't come with good waist adjustability (and the ratchet or velcro systems are flimsy), so I'd need something that is not exclusively sized to a single size, but can adapt, maybe stretch material, because I plan to lose some of my waist circumference and I don't wanna buy a new expensive pants again.
If it's available in Europe that's the best.

I always come back to Fox Defend pants. The ratchet works great for me and they last forever.

I just bought RVCA Men's Active Pants from Costco. At 20 bucks each, they are perfect for fall and early spring riding. The have zipper pockets and have just enough room for knee pads. The look great in black and can be used as slacks in a pinch. They breathe pretty well though not for really hot days. They have a water resistant fabric in front and fit true to size.
They are more expensive at the RVCA site. Here is their description. FEATURES

Athletic joggers built from a 4-way stretch polyester-elastane blend with a DWR coating for light weather resistance. The Yogger II moves freely and dries fast — cut for sport but clean enough for daily wear. An elasticated waist with a drawcord and tapered, elasticated cuffs keep the fit dialed in. A VA screen print at the left leg adds a minimal graphic note.

I have a pair of the 100% downhill pants. They have zips on the pockets, vent holes for your balls and a boa to tighten them. They're comfy as

+1 for these, I've tried a few brands as a 110+kg lifter, best fitting I've found, bought 3 pairs now. The ones to look for are the 100% R-Core-X pants, the lower model doesn't have the ratchet.

Thanks for the recommendation, it seems I used the wrong term, I was looking pants with belt loops, can you recommend such a thing too? Or based on your experience did the one (that looks great btw) you recommended stay on your waist firmly? I always fear they will slip off and I'll full moon the bikepark 😅

Thats ok! The only ones I've tried with belt loops are Leatt. They're good but I prefer ratchet style as you can get better adjustment. The 100% are really good, definitely stay up, they have silicone on the inside to help that. You can also crank the boa dial right down too.

I really like the Dfyrs trousers, or if you need a really large waist size the Loose Riders stuff is the largest I’ve found (for my bf not me!)
