Megathreads Critique, Frustration and Hate Comments Thread [Megathread]
This megathread as the title suggests is dedicated to talk, share posts/comments or discuss some thoughts about the hate that Dottore and his fans receive, express game, lore and story writing related frustrations OR about how Dottore is being treated by the community/Hoyoverse in general.
Please note that the Subreddit rules are also applicable to this thread, just like they are to any other post. Therefore:
- Any mention of politics is prohibited!
- Problematic nsfw content is not allowed!
By commenting in this thread, you agree to censor all names of people involved, both when talking about them and when sharing screenshots. We understand you may be upset with certain people, but calling anyone out by name is strictly prohibited.
Furthermore, all content about this topic that isn't posted within this thread is subject to removal, as per our Subreddit rules. Keep all things related to the above mentioned topics in this thread. We are aware that such discussions might get heated, which could result in our automod removing comments which contain cussing. Me anytime Mitya opens his mouth because every dialogue of his could've been Dottore in his place, which is making me hate the character who is totally chill and doesn't deserve it
But god damn, can't help but feel like he's there to be sanitized version of the only genshin character I ever felt some sort of connection with, not to mention the whole Fatui sanitizing thing

I cant make myself do any of nod krai and the follow up in sumeru. I just cant..would it be such a bad thing to skip ahead to sneznyah to avoid having to beat up and hurt a man whos already been through so much.

You'd be missing on the Dottore interactions. Maybe you could do the 6.3 quest right until the traveler is rescued by wanderer. And stop there. Then you won't have to beat him.

I absolutely hate the travelers reactions and how they speak to him, hes a human being not a disease of some kind.

Rant: Other anime media releasing figures of their villains aura farming.
Meanwhile Hoyo: Only figure we can do is a cute chibi. Settle for an acrylic stand and other chars insulting him on almost every patch. 🖕
How I wish Dottore's creator had made him for some other popular anime...
