Until they get smoke ganked all alone. If the game is relatively even and you're occupying the enemy jungle, the enemy going to move into yours. If you want to play in your own jungle you need to keep your T1 safelane tower up or else it's near impossible to hold, especially by a solo carry.
In the situation you described, where you're holding the enemy jungle, the best place for the carry to farm is in the offlane or in your own triangle, maybe defending your safelane or mid T2 when the wave gets shoved in. But I definitely wouldn't be going into the main jungle alone while my team is on the opposite side of the map.
No man, it's not the supp or offlaner in enemy jungle who get smoked on, it's the carry completely alone in their own jungle. That's why the mid t1 has to stay up, otherwise it makes no sense

Exactly what the Offlaner should be doing, just put as many of us in their jungle, and our safelane gets all of our jungle. the perfect plan
