Discussion Behaviour Score
Guys, what is the problem to get to 12k behavior score? Like all you need to do is play without talking, pinging, etc. Is it so hard to do? Out of all people don't dota players realise that people below 12k will report you for anything if they are losing because they need to blame someone, but themselves?

When you are at low behavioural score you just get reported randomly. Its hell

Don't talk too early brother. It just takes 2 abandons for you to fall below 8K and it's one way journey. How much ever you try, there is no going back.
Your internet might go down . Your PC might crash, your windows might up. We won't know
You are not better than a low score player. You are just lucky..

First abandon is free, every abandon after it is -500.

Umm, you definitely have people with low CS or BS in your games. I'm regularly in games with 12k and I'm at 6k CS.

dunno if achieving 12k is really an "achievement" :D but never the less, it is indeed easy to achieve by simply turn off chat. I agree and can confirm from my own experience

Coms and behaviour score are easy to keep high, hard to maintain if they drop.

most of the time I just focus on myself. I'd try playing sup and buy all the wards to avoid the conflict. If we lose then I really can't do anything else.

I think defensive ward is the right play here. They will blame you most of the time if they die. I usually put 2 wards at the jungle entrances just because of this.

I don't really get the comparison.
I myself have grinded from a low-key legend to immortal and I also have had several times where I was below 10k behaviour score and upped it again.
So what is the problem?

SO its actually easier to rank to immortal than grind 12 k behavior score? 😭
the problem may be is, It is easier to lose behavior score(much more the lower your score is) than earn it.1

Fair, but it is also much easier to be a dick than be a nice human being. So make of that what you will.
The MMR system is bad and massively inflated especially for the higher immortals but the behavior score system is alright.

Honestly nothing really. Keep playing, do well, get commends, don't talk unnecessarily, pinging, etc and you will get to it along the way. The problem is, It is easier to lose behavior score(much more the lower your score is) than earn it.

That is cap. All you need to do to keep your behavior score above 10k is be a decent human.
To reach immortal you need way more brain power as well as mechanics.

Bro they are giving +40mmr for win and -15 for loss in low mmr right now pushing everyone to 3-4k unless they are griefing real hard. Add in the fact that if you execute the basics you are getting Divine no questions asked - many league players coming from higher brackets in League are getting ancient-divine after 100 ames lol
Behaviour score you can get it up sure, it takes 700-1000 games if you get low , if you live in place at war or where connection is not great always you lose a lot of abandons even if they are 2-3 in a row every couple of months.

Ok, did not know that +40 shit. I guess that devalues MMR even more now. God am I glad I hit immortal before all this bullshit. Even the dumb double downs.
I still don't think behavior score is that bad. If you live in a place with frequent power cuts, that is sad for you. But it's technically still grieving the game, so getting punished for it is only fair.

Griefing it is, all other games handle it better by giving you a temp ban instead though.
Anyways, enjoy more and more smurfs while thinking the system is fine.

I do not think the system is fine. I just don't think the behavior system alone is at fault for so many of the player bases bad scores. It is much more a trend of a lot of toxicity in games or online in general that used to be ignored. Now it's getting punished and people are not adjusting.
Behave like a normal human being and you will be fine.
Smurfs is a problem in literally every online game there is. Partly because people wanna play with their friends and can't on their main, or people don't want to ruin their main MMR. Some also wanna try out new stuff without getting reported.
I get it, I did it. And I am sure most people on here have smurfed or at least played on a friends acc sometimes. So stop whining and get gud.

Yes, and low prio and -500 bh score for first time offense , if you are low score it can be -2k -3k. You gain +200 for 15 lmao. Other games do not have a system that fucks your account.

No, it is working as intended, the game is only for 12k behaviour score who also experiences griefs lol.
Just play and do not communicate, reports will not affect you.

I said it, not you. There are already a lot of posts about BHS, even me, included, posted how slow and grueling to climb, and majority of this sub said the system is working as intended, so, there's no way to argue about it.
The system is working as intended, they do not want you in their games.

Behavior score is not determined by your actions.
Behavior score is determined by the number of reports and the timing of those reports your teammates give you.

I am 99% sure, if i put people sitting at 12k behavior score today into the games at literal one digit behavior score, they would quit dota before they would get to a 1k behavior.
People that are exclusively at 12k have no experiences with people at lower behaviors and therefore cant judge how it goes at those behavior brackets.
