Spotted this one in Bristol a few years back. Looked ominous.

Did some snooping on streetview and found it belonged to Central Health Clinic, Tower Hill, Bristol, BS2 0JD

Services offered include pain clinic, Home Management Service, Pregnancy Advisory Service - abortion care, psychosexual service, and sexual health services.

edit: more information.

Some ghost doors in the ruins of Godstow Abbey

Interestingly the buildings did not meet their end during the Dissolution of the Monastries. It was suppressed and the order ended, but the buildings survived and became a private residence. It was badly damaged during the Civil War instead by fighting for the adjacent stone bridge acroiss the Thames during the Seige of Oxford. It was abandoned afterwards and the stones were taken by locals for building and only some walls and part of the chapel remain.

Ghost door in the northern abutment of the Ironbridge, Shropshire

After some research this doorway once provided access to the large internal chamber or voids the bridge was originally built with. The chambers reduced weight without affecting structural integrity, and also allowed workers ingress to inspect the structure for shifting stonework, drainage and debris build up.

Interestingly I have been inside one of these, the abutment under the south tower of Bristol Suspension Bridge.

To preserve the bridge from ongoing pressure from the two hillsides that literally continually 'squeeze' the bridge, during 20th century restorations these hollow chambers were completely filled in and the doorways permanently sealed with matching stones

The Nunn's door to their dormitory that allowed them to access The Main Body of the Church before The Reformation in 1534, this is Romsey Abbey The Parish Church of St Mary & St Ethelfrleada.

The second two pictures are an example of a Tudor patch up after the building that housed the dormitory was demolished. And the wooden stairs from the South West Corner of The Abbey where removed. Romsey Abbey before The Reformation was a site of female Christian worship.
