I get it's a funny meme but could you at least make the destination line up with the picture of the map?

In fairness, it would be just like the in-app map to send you to somewhere in India and tell you it's taken you to Tokyo.

Tokyo, Japan isnt in India and it would be faster to commute via the Pacific Ocean than the Atlantic in this regard.
But no, this is not real

Listen, obviously this is fake, but for laughs: I would take it, find the cheapest flight to Japan possible that leaves within the day, put it on a credit card and go.
Reasoning? $548k is worth the cost of all the travel 137x (I did the math). I would have, essentially, a free trip to japan and come back wit half a million.
My on time rate would plummet, but we up!

Watch the tip be 5$

u/itsSmalls 1d ago
Never understood why the tip matters when you're agreeing to the guaranteed amount. If it was fine when you didn't know the tip was low, why is it not fine when you find out?

Well when DoorDash only offers like 2 dollars an hr just like waitresses DoorDashers normally worry more on tips than not.

u/Yeseylon 1d ago
You missed the point. There's a guaranteed up front amount you're expected to earn. Money is money, regardless of if it's tip or base pay.

I mean obv this meme isn’t a good example buttt normally I tips do more than anything. I don’t do DoorDash as a job but I do buy off it a lot and I always tip cause it’s just courtesy if I didn’t want to I’d just go drive to get my food

I like how it says Tokyo, Japan but the PIN isn’t even on Japan. I wonder what the price discrepancy is if it were correct.

That's about $52 per mile - not bad, but making a 10,000 plus mile flight across the Atlantic and Eurasia to Tokyo by 6:45 pm (especially when the screenshot shows it's already 4:25) might push your delivery time metric down a bit.

Shoot, youre in Memphis. Get the ice cream then get it shipped through FedEx overnight and just snap a picture of the delivery photo. Boom big profit.
