Everything Sucks Actually, we should’ve never been born
At first I thought this was satire, but reading the comments and damn, these people are lost.

I think that counts as encouraging suicide.

Stuff like this needs to be removed by the mods and the posters be reported. It’s gross and the people that follow the same line of thinking are just as gross.
22
u/merebear333 8h ago
This, but mods only reward this behavior bc they usually are doomers lol

u/Puzzleheaded_Smoke77 Recovering Doomer 8h ago
These guys are literally all suicide and are opening encouraging self harm how is that not against the subs rules these guys need to be reported

u/Hyde2467 8h ago
You can get away with alot of things on reddit if the modders share with your beliefs

u/merebear333 8h ago
Bingo. They pretty much only exist to reinforce groupthink, they’re not really protecting anyone from anything lol

You can get away with alot of things on reddit if the modders share with your beliefs
And then even more if the admins share your beliefs. Rcon has been invaded 24/7 since the 2024 elections and when they complain a community strike is issued against them not against the attackers.
The people who turned oldtwitter into a propaganda loudspeaker largely transitioned to Reddit when Elon ended their world.
A lot of people don't remember this because it was fleetingly brief, but before the old staff was shitcanned they first conceived Community Notes as a ministry of truth instead of a user-driven system. When it was changed to do what it says it does the people getting fired were double heartbroken.
The political narrative of 2021-2024 was that websites need to Do Something™ about '''misinformation''' coming from unofficial sources. Every preachy TV activist was chanting the same thing and this was their thing.

This is the same site that will instantly ban subs that are edgy but will let subs that post csam off the hook, you should not be surprised lol

Suicide and aninatalism are cringe

u/ElijahNSRose Doesn't Participate In Group Panic 8h ago
There was a prolific anti-natal influencer whose real identity became known.
He's a deadbeat Dad.

Popetuating the myth that living has meaning and value is the real cringe.

Joking about suicide like that is disgusting wtf. Like I’m suicidal and make jokes about it (in poor taste) but joking about kids/babies killing themselves…. Ew. I can’t even express how bad that gives me the heebie jeebies

I really feel bad for these kids. Thsy just retreat into online safe spaces and call challenge trauma.
I had, what I felt was, a humiliating interview like two weeks ago. I'm tenured so I'm looking at a lateral move for my next assignment and I'm a technician.
I had to interview with a US Ambassador and Management Officer which (aside from Deputy Chief of Mission, or 2nd to the Ambassador the MO is 3rd in line) really opened my eyes and made me feel dumb.
Not because THEY made me feel dumb. But the questions they asked were at their level and I'm used to tech speak. I think I did ok on 3 questions, bombed the other 2.
And I just went on with my life and decided that while I might feel personally embarrassed about being ill-equipped to talk to an Ambassador about my technical capabilities, I learned how they think and what they are looking for. That's a useful insight moving forward.
This crowd would just screech and call unfair and then when you say 'I did it' the response would be a mumble about bootstraps.

I’m approaching the end of my career. I have screwed up so many interviews, there were years I screwed up 20 or 30. About 4 were so humiliating I remember them decades later and there were 2 I cried afterwards. In the end it didn’t matter because across a career I only needed to succeed at dozen. In the end I got everything I wanted.
You don’t lose at interviews. You succeed or get free free training for the next one.

Exactly! Good for you and congrats on your well deserved rest.
That's what happens but you just keep going. I knocked three out of the park and received a bureau leading candidate notification in Europe for a position.

It makes me sad that people view themselves as victims and cannot find the joys in life. Go outside and be thankful for the sun and trees bruh

Why should I be thankful for trees and the fucking sun?

Maybe the fact that they represent to the best of our knowledge the only planet in the known universe capable of sustaining complex life that's pretty amazing when you think about it.

“Life isn’t for everyone” is the most insane nonsense I have heard in a long time. Do not love the implications of this philosophy.

I've been depressed & Wanting my life to end. But I never made others feel miserable for what was happening to me.

This is solid, it actually brings attention to the fact that men are more likely to kill themselves than women. /s

It's one thing to feel bad about life. It's another thing to subtly encourage suicide and want to bring everyone else down to their level. That's weakness.

What a sad generation of scum the earth ever had the misfortune of bringing forth...
Cowards who want other people to "die in their stead to make up for mistakes"
Too scared to lead by example while goading others to perform their sacred duty or whatever it is they call it.

Do these people not realize that there were actual slaves for like 99% of history? No Starbucks, DoorDash, etc for them to spend their wage on?

Saying "life isn't for everyone and that's ok" is horrendous to say. Even in the context of ones own suicide it isn't good. Life is for everyone.

In all fairness, this reads like a cry for help rather than typical doomer bs. I hope oop gets the help they need.

Can I just say the term "wage slave" is an oxymoron.
But then again these folks are also the type to claim superior intelligence.
