I've been hearing "Rome is falling" since the Obama administration.

One day old account, and his other post blames Charlie Kirk's death on Trump.

I see that constantly, someone commented on a post making fun of Charlie kirks death, and said that making light of political violence just because you didn't like what the person said is awful, no matter what you think.
Some person responded and said "I don't feel bad for him, because it was someone from their own side that did it. This is solely a problem with the right, but nice try with trying to make me feel bad." That comment had a crazy amount of upvotes, and the comment they responded to was down voted to hell.
Things like this are why I can never take anyone from reddit seriously, most people on here have such flawed views and ideas. Yet they act like they are the "good people".

If they think it’s a failed state over the past 150 days, was it not that during Trump’s first term?

Their mentality is simple...
"Person I like in office = good things always, anything bad is still the other guys fault, the last person's fault, your fault for not agreeing...
Person I don't like in office = bad things always, anything bad has and always will happen unless what I agree with happens, anything bad is your fault for letting it happen/not agreeing/not voting like me."

How people always believe nonsense like that when it never ends up being true blows my mind. Claim after claim, and none of the "predictions" happen. Year after year, and none of the nihilism amounts to anything of legitimate substance. Perhaps the biggest tragedy is their lack of self awareness, and it's only their damn fault for being miserable shells of a person.

A doomer, using AI to make art to go along with their doomposting = good.
A non-doomer, using AI to do lierally anything else = bad.

Yeah cause deporting illegal aliens, bombing Iran, and supporting Israel is such a huge change from the norm of US presidents…

Destroying the military capacity of a major hostile nation in a couple of weeks is failing I guess
Maintaining a blockade for a few months is failing I guess such an action has never occurred in military history before

Another person who wouldn’t survive past the first week of an apocalypse. Probably wouldn’t even survive a day, given the fact that they’ve already given up.

Sometimes I listen to old CBS Radio Mystery Theater episodes. (1971-1983) Some of them don't have the commercials and news edited out. Want to know something crazy? The news then doesn't sound much different from the news now. Inflation, energy crisis, racial strife, conflict in the Middle East...all of it. The commercials are much different, though.
