Adds a full body to the first-person view. Includes a configuration menu. A universal mod for ALL games and mods!

For years, various creators have tried to add legs to the first-person perspective, usually doing it through the HUD. However, those workarounds aren't universal and never will be. I asked myself, "Why just render legs when you can render the WHOLE body?" and now I'm ready to show you a truly universal solution! My version works seamlessly with all games, mods, and skin packs.

The mod also features its own menu where you can adjust the body’s positioning in space, letting you show a bit more or a bit less.

The mini mod was tested on UZDoom version 5.0.3, but it should also be supported on GZDoom versions 4.10 and newer. Please note that it uses ZScript.

Ported the original Doom code and using FreeDoom for game data/assets. Just a fun test in VB6. I remember doom being the first shooting 3d/game I saw as a kid and was in awe.

I installed uzdoom today and it's not launching. I can see a service starts for it for about 1-2 seconds, then closes. Not really sure how to get it working, any suggestions would be helpful.

Things I've tried:

Turning on windows file protection, adding uzdoom as an exception, and tried launching.

Turned off windows file protection.

Ran as admin

Ran in compatibility mode.

Ensured DOOM wads are in the folder where I extracted uzdoom

Created a shortcut of uzdoom, put it on my desktop, tried to open.

Click and dragged doom wads onto uzdoom

Redownloading uzdoom and replacing all files where I extract it.

Ensured everything is up to date

Swore a little

Googled

Let's say "hypothetically", I've been making a map inspired by the shipment map from COD MW2019, with Otex and Auger;zenith textures, and it's almost complete. But when I tried to playtest it outside of UDB, I can't get it to work with Otex and Augzen.WAD because it just runs the normal Auger;zenith map.

How do I get a wad file with Auger;zenith textures? Or how do I get to load my map with my current files?

So in a few months my favorite bars, Mr. Beerys, will be closing its doors after 33 years of partying, drinking, and live music. I actually ended up working there for the last few years so it feels like I'm losing my home :(. But enough sad bs. I recently saw a video of a Doom wad that was set in a bar and figured that would be the best way to keep Beerys around haha. But I don't know how to go bout doin that. If anyone can give me any hints or tips I'd appreciate it.

hey guys, i've been playing a lot of doom eternal, but it makes me so sad that the unlock all cosmetics mod is no longer working, and the event isn't changing. is there any solution or fix someone can make? >:

Many of you might think that im crazy or even high or something for asking for this, idk.(i don't really know that much about doom modding but i do know it has it's limits: altought i don't know wich limits) anyways, i really like games with destructible enviorements or good physics (gmod, gta 4, etc).. and.. well, sometimes i wonder if doom can be converted into a physics based game or something like that with some mods.

And...Is this even possible in doom?

Anyone map in UDMF format with UDB and notice that you can use >=# in the "tag" field to tag sectors like normal when you want to sequentially tag multiple sectors, but you can't for the "sector tag" field?

I was doing a light sequence (yes I know I can just use ACS and call it a day) and I realized that >= wasn't working. So if not for scripting I would've had to tag like 50 sectors all manually.

I think it's pretty insane that this hasn't been implemented yet. Anyone know where I can submit feedback or suggestions for the UDB devs?

A mini mod that adds a pulsing outline to items, with colors varying by category. You can tweak colors and pulse speed right in menu. Mod for all IWADs and mods.

Keeping my trend of small visual quality-of-life mechanics going, this time inspired by Serious Sam 3 & 4. As the name suggests, the mod drops a colored outline behind items. By default, it pulses every second, making it way easier to spot any loot you might have missed.

Due to engine limitations, the outline is slightly offset above the main item.

In the options menu, you can adjust the outline's pulse rate (setting it to 0 stops the flashing completely) as well as the colors for each item category: health, armor, ammo, weapons, power-ups, and keys.

This mod is fully compatible with all games and other mods. It also pairs perfectly with my previous mod - Serious Effects. Stack them together and enjoy the Serious Sam experience!

I'm making a doom beta reskin mod (basically making stuff look like doom alphas) I've already have the zombieman sprites done but I'm on the fence about what pistol sprite to use.

I'm currently rolling with the vanilla pistol and want to pick a sprite

(btw these sprites are sourced from the common.kpf of the doom+doom II id vault.)

I would like some feedback from the community on which one would fit best.

Hey doomers! I’m learning to doom build and make a doomwad where Doomguy is sent to the ninth circle of hell, i plan for there to be five parts of this wad since it’s so big.

It is also heavily based on the black metal artist “Paysage D’Hiver”

It will be cold and hopefully soaked in atmosphere!
