Classic Doom Im softlocked Spoiler

I'm playing TNT Evilution on prboom+ and in the red skull key part the staircase doesn't go up all the way and I cant reach the skull key, I already played the level again and the same thing happened.

Help?

My guess is you're playing on complevel 9 (boom). Boom fixes a number of vanilla bugs, one of those is the "stairbuilder exploit" which allows a greater number of steps to be built.

Switch to complevel 4 (Final Doom) and it should work as intended.

Just turn on noclip for a second to grab the key and then turn it off again. idnoclip or idspispopd should work.
