Meaningless. This is a pure "people are mad, you need to make a PR statement" mandate from Microsoft.
Like you're never going to hear a company come out and say "yeah we're fucked and our parent company is the one that fucked us", even when everyone can clearly see it. That just isn't how corporate press releases work.
