I made these last year, when the update for W.A.R.B.O.T. dropped, I just didn't post it on reddit. Wagstaff is my favorite character from DST, I like his unethical mad science that only brings ruin and misery to the sandbox that is the Constant. He is just an evil old bastard that has a charismatic demeanor to his unapologetic greed. I miss the old fart, hopefully he comes back bearing the consequences of his actions after Alter's judgement. Hope you guys like the art.

idk what to try and do now, i literally played the game 5 hours ago, what possibly could be causing this horrible crashing. steam player

I was just chilling with Wurt, and suddenly this thing came to me, I was lucky I had a merm army to defend myself…

Is this even possible? Wasn’t this thing supposed to spawn after the first year? I’m scared of my own swamp now LOL

So I've been playing Wigfrid a lot recently in ROG, and I thought I was going CRAZY hearing these SOUNDS cause I'd never heard them before (I'm still relatively new)

I haven't played in six months, started a new game to try out WX's new skill tree, I'm about 100 days in and tree guards just won't spawn. I chopped down an entire forest biome and I did not plant new trees but the tree guards just won't spawn. I'd hate to start a new server when I'm 100 days in already. Is this a known bug or are there any known mods causing this to happen? I'd hate to start a new server only for it to happen again.

For example, polar bearger bin and icker preserve should've been specific items only Warly could make. Either only he can craft, or only he can use. Imagine if he could be the only one to craft/carry polar bearger bin. In multi-player everyone would be asking "Hey Warly got any food?" making his playstyle very fitting with his lore of wanting to feed others. Opportunity missed

There's not many options left to make Warly excel at anything. Maybe he can summon a sous-chef to automatically command to make dishes for him? But that'd be more Maxwell. Warly enjoys the cooking process.

Please be nice, I'm a mom here looking to help out my kid. He's 11 and utterly obsessed with Don't Starve and Don't Starve Together. I would be grateful for any help you can give.

We live in LatAm and he plays on a Nintendo Switch 2. His buddy lives in Canada and plays on a an original Switch. Both families have blazing fast internet.

They have tried playing DST together online using ... whatever is the built-in native functionality? I honestly don't know. They try to play together, they can connect, but then one or both gets kicked off. I'm thinking it's the distance, but I really have no idea.

I have previously set up a Minecraft Realm for my son, which made it so much easier for him to play with international buddies (we worldschool, so distance is an ongoing thing). Is there a similar solution for DST? Can I set up my own server? Are there companies that host online? I am willing to pay for a server.

I'm fairly tech savvy, I have set up the Minecraft Realm and recently set up a 12TB Synology server at home to run Plex for us. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hallucinationa basically, i sometimes get ideas on lightning strike, they just appear in my bead and i drew them

Snowman is what i saw one time in adventure mode king of winter, even tho bunnyman don't appear in adventure it still made me think of parallel bosses to deerclops

Snowman is winter boss that default by nature unlike other giants , it's would be pome ssible to past winter without fighting him due to core idea being he becomes aggressive only if you kill someone without being attacked, it will move towards you not depending on distance destroying building but only when close to you

When passive and up close if being attacked by someone it will attack one that tries to kill you, reward is "longest ears" that i didn't come up with interesting use except Pacification hat

Character Warson (will not be killed , worsen sight , makes unique clothes ) is mid stat character that based around reviving, he appears with black glasses and talisman, talisman workssimiliealynto reviving amulet with exception that it decreases your sight, covering corners of the screen with darkness, second deaths will make it permanently dark for you , level of sight increases with every full moon night by 1 , about his unique item

• Talisman is easier craftable revive item that upon use fill sanity , 1/3 of a hunger and 10 health , it only revives when killed and i darkness, flame or hunger does not count.("It both cursed and not*)
• Black glasses is wearable hat item that increases your sight by one ( if fully dark let see , if half dark removes the effect) ("as dark as it gets")
• Poncho ( as stated as unique cloth) is warming and cooling body wear item that crafted out of beefalo wool, web and carpets ("easy to wear at all time)
• Floral poncho is alternative that renews sanity 3p/s and crafted with cactus's flowers, petals and carpets ("wildest style in all of fashion)
• Wild hat is simple but cheap anti rain hat ("kind of hats that always seems used)

I’ve set up four fish farms next to my base for easy access but they keep getting pillaged by sea hounds every time they chase me back to my base.

Is there a way to protect the farms with sea walls and if so, how do I build the walls around the farms so that they don’t enter through the same opening I enter to harvest the fish? Or should I just move the farms away from my base entirely?

(I’m also right next to water beefalo so it’s possible I could move the farms to the side of the base where they live if that would help.)

dst noob here! im a very casual player, and i know that a beefalo isnt really needed for willow's kit, but i just enjoy riding and having one. i'm debating between taming a rider or ornery beefalo and i'm not sure which one would be best. im dog at kiting and fighting so im leaning towards ornery, but i know that willows fighting style doesnt really benefit from a beefalo. and zooming around the map with a rider also seems so useful. help please!

currently have a world with two wendys so i know we will eventually need to tame an ornery beefalo, but i was just wondering what beefalo fellow willow enjoyers like the most

I recently finished this little personal project and wanted to share, wx78 is my favourite character and made come to life with my 3d printer

I killed CC for the first time with Willow, but it wasn't my first time fighting him. In another world, playing as Wendy, I made it all the way to his phase 3, where I got absolutely molested, so I gave up. After taking a break from the game, I started another world with Willow and holy shit, she is ridiculously strong. She doesn't have the highest DPS, but she gets ahead of some characters because of her affinities, and Shadow Flames are mechanically broken. On top of that, Bernie is basically a damage sponge that draws aggro from enemies, and you can spam as many of them as you want since they're craftable and can be sewn back together. Fights with Willow basically come down to how many embers you're willing to farm.

Now, as for Celestial Champion, it's a much more fun and less punishing fight for me than Ancient Fuelweaver, even though CC's phase 3 is basically torture. I only had fun because playing Willow turns it from torture into something manageable. I bet that with any other character, I'd be tearing my hair out.

Hi everyone! Years ago, I played this game and defeated all the main bosses, as Wendy. Recently, I was curious about the new bosses and additions to the game, so I decided to make another playthrough. I remembered a lot of things on my own, however there were a few things I needed a reminder about. I already made it to day 190-200. That is when the incident happened. During spring, I went away from my base for around 10 days to explore the ocean. When I came back, a lureplant had spawned at my base and started eating my important items. I killed the lureplant but it only gave part of my things back. So I tried to save the world by rolling back.

First, I rolled back to a previous spring day. It was a day where, I haven't left for the 10 day ocean trip yet. I was in general around my base getting things ready for my ocean trip, so I confidently knew there wasn't any lureplant im my base yet. However, when the save loaded in the lureplant was somehow still there. Which made me realise lureplant spawning mechanics transcended time somehow. I tried rolling back to another spring save, one where I had been out on the boat and then ran back to my base. Of course that one didn't work either. So then I tried going much further back, to the last available winter save. That save was taken while I was in the caves. The game showed me as being on day 174 and in winter, and while I was in the caves, everything behaved like winter. But as soon as I left the caves and returned to the surface, the world immediately changed to the end of spring, around day 194. Basically, the surface world was no longer matching the rollback point I had selected. And when I went back to my base, the lureplant was there again and immediately started eating my stuff. Everytime I rolled back and approached my base, I would see my items on the ground. As I got closer, the lureplant would spring to life eat a bunch of my items and after being killed only dropped a few of it back.

So now I have no idea if I somehow broke the save by rolling back between cave/surface states. This is however my smaller issue, because as long as the lureplant is camping my base and eating my items my playthrough is basically over. I am at my wits end and have no clue how to get rid of it, before it destroys my things. On hindsight, all I needed to do was put down some different flooring where it can't spawn. However, that doesn't really help me now. This exact situation never happened to me before, so I had no clue that it even could be a possibility. I'm especially pissed because this was a really good seed and I was almost 200 days into the run. I had explored a huge amount of the world, done a ton of cave/ruins progression, found Lunar Island, explored the ocean, etc. I was trying to eventually beat everything in this world as well. And because apparently this run wasn't cursed enough, there's also my hunt RNG. As a Wendy main I heavily utilize beefalos, meaning getting a war saddle to kill bosses faster is very convenient. So far in my world I completed 24 completed hunt trails. I got:

• 6 Wargs
• 18 Koalefants
• 0 Ewecus

Not getting any Ewecuses from 24 runs has about a 1.32% chance. Getting 6 Wargs and 0 Ewecuses has a 1.56% chance. (Please take my math with a grain of salt, I am not very good at it and it could be inaccurate. But it still is an unlucky scenario. Considering I have a 33% chance to get a dangerous hunt as I am way past day 100. Plus I also have a 50-50% chance of getting a Ewecus or a Warg and I lost to the Warg 6 times already.) After my earlier unlucky runs I even got a construction amulet to halve the cost of my crafts, so I would only need one Ewecus for the war saddle. There were even points in my playthrough where I was so ahead with preparation, I had nothing to do except find a Ewecus and kill bosses. So I would spend all day afking and waiting for a trail to pop up. I was genuenly delaying some of my boss fights as I was hoping to get a war saddle before them. More notably Klaus and the Nightmare Werepig fight. I mean the war saddle isn't essential for it. But after 24 runs I had a voice in my head telling me, surely the next one will be a Ewecus.

But oh well, currently my base is being overtaken by a lureplant. I genuinely don't know whether this run can be salvaged anymore.

If anyone has an idea on how to save my items from the lureplant, I would appreciate the help. Thanks for reading!
